Brand new fence! Officially opened! Located off of a quiet road by the Sky Meadows State Park entrance. We live on the property with our two rescue dogs (but they will be kept away and inside the house during your visit). Our property has a brand new fence (wood paddock style with reinforced cattle wire mesh) that we would like to share with people and their dogs who need some exercise. Many amenities around including wineries, scenic views, Sky Meadows State Park, historical landmarks, and more. Please reach out if you have any questions! We have a little peace of heaven here in the Shenandoah Valley! We’re just minutes from Interstate 66 & 81. We are also offering many amenities such as cold water for you and your dog! A dog pool, plenty of chairs located sporadically in the shade and one in the middle with an umbrella for shade! We have even put a hammock out there if you want to relax while your dog gets his/her energy out! We have also provided toys, costumes for dress up, light treats and we have a water source for cleaning off the paws as well as towels to dry your pooch before getting back in the car! The private dog park is 100% fenced in and while you’re here our dogs will be in the house so they are not a distraction. All you need to bring is your dog and yourself and you’re sure to have a great time! The proceeds from this Sniffspot will go to our Nonprofit Animal Rescue, Maci Blue Animal Rescue! Hello! My name is Katie and we are so excited to offer our yard space to your furry best friend. My family has lived in an apartment the last two years while house hunting in Crozet, and we have learned how difficult it is to have dogs without access to a yard. Now that we are settling into our new home, we are excited to offer our space for afternoon fetch, morning zoomies, and just lounging in the sunshine. Animals just make the world a better place. You will always have complimentary access to our hammock and swing gazebo. Please refrain from using the kids play equipment! Come enjoy some nature time in our yard in Crozet. :) Arrival Notes: When you arrive you can park anywhere on our gravel driveway. The gate to the right of the house that goes into our garden is where you will enter. This “holding” area in the garden gives you a chance to triple check there are no lingering guests or animals in the yard. Once you are in our backyard please shut the gate behind you. Most guests enjoy hanging out in the firepit area where there are hammock swings and seating. Along the fence, you will see a spot for water, toys, and other things I thought you may need. We ask that guests not utilize our small deck near the house, so that our dogs don’t bark and disturb their stay! So far all of our guests have come a second time, so if you end up booking again, I’d love any feedback on how to make your visit extra special. I’m a dog trainer and I run a dog boarding/daycare from my home (hence all the different fenced spaces). When possible, daycare and boarding dogs will be taken indoors during your visit so that you and your pup can have uninterrupted time to play/work together in a quiet environment. This is not always feasible depending on the day/time of your visit and our schedule on any given day. Check in advance if your dog does not do well if they see/hear other dogs, people, or cars. The main SniffSpot is currently about 7,000 sq ft in our side field, which is perfect for running, playing fetch, working on recall and other obedience commands, and is full of smells to sniff out. Basic amenities provided as needed, our 3 lab mix dogs are social and friendly if you are looking for socialization and we are available. Otherwise, they will remain inside during visits.

Gate entrance is to the left of the garage. You are able to park along the road or in the driveway. Please be mindful not to block any vehicles in & we will do the same. Feel free to sit and relax on the patio or by the fire pit. You are able to move the plastic chairs around as needed! We have tall trees, so there is plenty of shade. 💧 There is a hose on the larger patio if you need to fill the water bowl. 🚮 We have a small trash can located by the shed or you can use the big one outside of our garage.

I have a background in Vet Tech, have owned and loved many animals throughout my life and feel my calling is to offer my furry friends the best options we have in life. My yard is one of my favorite parts about owning my home. It's Huge, its open and above all else, my three babies can run to their hearts content. This location will only get better with time. Right now, we have a few agility options and plenty of fetch toys. Stay tuned for more updates as time progresses. We have big plans for this place and hope you will enjoy the journey with us. Enjoy our secluded dog pasture located on a dead end out in Beaverdam. As you enter the gravel driveway, you will see designated parking alongside a shaded shed. Just a short walk away is the entrance to a fully fenced doggie pasture. We will have camp style chairs inside under a shade sail for your use as well as a garden hose and drinking bowl (for the dogs only preferred).There are covered dog shelters so your pooch can have some shade. Doo doo bags and trash can are nearby for cleaning up. The area is far removed from the street We are easily reached should you have any issues at all and the area has security cameras for safety. We do not have any outside pets that will interfere with your visit. A burn barrel and wood is available for visits in the cooler months. Take a ride through the county and enjoy our clean and pesticide/fertilizer free pasture!

With Fall upon us, we welcome you and your dogs to enjoy our fully-fenced backyard with private lake access. We offer shade for our guests, both from the trees and a movable pop up tent. We also have a dog-kiddie pool for them to splash around in or rinse off after their dip in the lake. We provide outside toys, doggie waste bags, treats, towels and drinking water for you and our furry guests. We offer a 45 yard leash you can use when your dog is swimming if you are worried about their recall in the water. We even have an agility course for some extra fun!
