There are many trails for long walks in the forest and many streams. If you need anything during your visit feel free to contact us! Please note we do have other guests on the property so respect the privacy of the cabins you see. We also have two horses so once you see them please keep your pup on a leash. Hello, pups! Come play in our big backyard! We have about an acre of land, and about half of that is in the back where you can hang out. There are three levels of yard, and the farthest back area is a big field perfect for running and playing. There is water, poop bags and a garbage can near the entrance gate. Note: there is no outdoor lighting provided at night

Dog Park Guidelines • Hours of Operation: 8:00 a.m. to Dusk (Hours of operation are subject to change at the discretion of the Superintendent of Recreation & Parks as deemed necessary). • Park Users and Dog Owners assume all risks related to park use. • The off-leash dog park does not permit children ten (10) years of age and under or dogs under four (4) months old. • Children from 11 years of age to 17 years of age must be under adult supervision at all times. • Area A – Small dogs (30 lbs or less). • Area B – All dogs. • Maximum of three (3) dogs per adult. • Dogs must be spayed or neutered. • Dogs must be licensed by the City of Middletown and up-to-date with vaccinations. • A current license tag must be visible on each dog’s collar. • Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the off-leash park area. • Dogs are permitted to be off-leash in the designated fenced area only and the gates must remain closed. • Owners/responsible parties must carry a leash and maintain control over their dogs at all times while in the park. • Owners/responsible parties must clean up after their dogs and dispose of dog waste in an appropriate container. • Dogs are prohibited from digging. Any holes created must be filled in by owner before leaving the park. • No dog treats, human foods or drinks are permitted in the off-leash park. • No animals other than dogs are permitted within the off-leash park area. • Dog are not permitted on benches. • Aggressive and/or threatening dogs are not permitted in the off-leash park unless muzzled and leashed at all times. • Aggressive behavior, dog bites to person or dogs and/or other such incidents must be reported to the Recreation & Parks Department office at 845-346-4180 Monday-Friday during the hours of 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 343-3151 on evenings and weekends. • All other Recreation & Parks rules and regulations, as well as, all City of Middletown ordinances apply.

Smith’s Clove Park’s Dog Park Dog Park Rules and Regulations All rules pertaining to Smith’s Clove Park, also pertain to this Dog Park You are entering an off-leash dog park; enter at your own risk 1. Dog owners/guardians must accept full responsibility for themselves, their children/guests and their dog(s) while in the park. 2. Owners must carry a leash at all times. Please leash and unleash your dog inside the double-gated holding area. Never carry your dog into the Dog Park. 3. Never open more than one gate at a time. If an owner and his/her dog(s) are in the holding area, stand outside and wait for him/her to enter or exit. 4. Dogs must first be registered with Smith’s Clove Park prior to using this facility. Properly registered dog’s owner will receive a confirmation card to carry while in the dog Park. 5. Dogs showing aggression towards people or other animals must be immediately removed from the park by the owners/guardians 6. Owners should not leave their dogs unattended or allow them to be out of their sight. 7. An adult must accompany minor children. 8. Parents should refrain from bringing toddlers or small children into the park, Please remember this is a Dog Park and not a playground for children. 9. Children should not run with the dogs or chase them while in the park. 10. Puppies under four months of age are prohibited, as they are not yet protected from diseases. 11. Owners must clean up after their dogs. Waste disposal bags and trashcans are provided. 12. Owners must stop dogs from digging and immediately fill holes. 13. The number of dogs per person is limited to three (3). No commercial dog services. 14. Dogs in heat will not be allowed inside the park. 15. Separate areas for large and small dogs are designated, please adhere to those guidelines. 16. Following rules and regulations for the Jill Schwertfeger Memorial Dog Park: • Dogs that bark or howl persistently must be removed from the premises to be considerate of other pet owners and other park visitors • Dogs must never be left unattended or allowed out of sight. • Dogs shall be under the direct supervision of individuals 18 years or older. • Dogs must be wearing a valid New Jersey dog tag and have paid the set yearly fee from the Borough of Oakland in order to use the dog park. To register your dog, please visit Oakland Borough Hall at 1 Municipal Plaza. • Owners must clean up after their dogs pursuant to Borough Code 5-1.7(c) • Dogs showing aggression towards people or other animals shall be removed from the park. Dogs with a history of aggressive behavior will not be permitted in the dog park. • Dogs must be at least five months old to use the dog park. • Children under 12 years old are not permitted inside the dog park and children from 12-18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times inside the dog park. • Owners must have a leash at all times as dogs must be on leash when entering and when leaving the dog park. • Dogs using the dog park must be spayed or neutered. • Dogs that are sick are not permitted in the dog park. • Dogs wearing metal choke or spike collars are not permitted in the dog park. • Dog owners are responsible and liable for the actions and behavior of their dogs at all times. Use of park at your own risk. Oakland Borough will not provide supervision during dog park operating hours. • Owners or persons responsible shall not allow their dogs to dig holes or engage in activities that may create a safety or maintenance hazard. • No smoking, food of any type, glass items, or alcohol is permitted inside or surrounding the dog park. • A maximum of two dogs per adult are allowed in the dog park. • Bringing or allowing unregistered dogs into the dog park is strictly prohibited and violators of this policy may be subject to a fine and risk losing dog park privileges. • The dog park may be closed for maintenance without prior notice. • Small dog park section is limited to dogs weighing 25 pounds or lighter. Large dog park is open to dogs of all sizes. • All dog bites or other incidences must be reported to the Oakland Police Department at 201-337-6171. • All other rules pertaining to the Great Oak Park that do not conflict with these rules are also applicable to the dog park.
Bark Park Rules & Regulations 1. Dog Owners are responsible and liable for the actions and behavior of their dog(s) at all times and may use the park at their own risk. Pequannock Township will not provide supervision during Dog Park operating hours. 2. Dog owners must confirm that their homeowner’s/renter’s insurance has liability coverage before using the Dog Park. 3. ALL dogs MUST have current rabies and distemper vaccinations. It is recommended that dogs be on a flea and heartworm preventative medication. 4. If your dog is ill, DO NOT USE THE PARK. 5. All dogs must wear a valid license and Pequannock Twp. Bark Park tag when in the park. 6. A limit of two dogs per adult may be brought to the park at the one time. 7. Dogs must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. 8. Dogs must be kept on a leash until inside the gated area. 9. No puppies younger than six months old are permitted to use the park. 10. No children under age eight shall be allowed inside the gated area. Children 8-17 are permitted inside gated area when accompanied by an adult. 11. Owners are required to clean up after their dog(s). 12. Owner MUST remove their dog(s) from the park at FIRST sign of aggression. Continued signs of aggression by any dog may result in loss of membership. 13. ALL dogs must be Spayed or Neutered. 14. All dog bites MUST be reported to the Pequannock Twp. Health Department. 15. No food is permitted inside park. 16. The park may be closed without prior notice for maintenance. 17. Bark Park tags are not transferable. 18. All Pequannock Twp. Parks are Smoke, Alcohol and Drug Free Zones. 19. Park is open during Daylight Hours Only. 20. Dog owners failing to comply with the above rules/regulations shall be deemed in violation of Ordinance 2007-26, Section 129.020

TOWNSHIP OF WAYNE DOG PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS • Park Hours 8:00 a.m. until dusk • Owners must register all dogs prior to use of the park. • Dog owners are responsible and liable for the actions and behavior of their dogs at all times. Use of park at your own risk. Wayne Township will not provide supervision during dog park operating hours. • All dogs must have a current license and a Wayne Township Dog Park pass on when in the park. Passes can be obtained from either the Health Department or Park & Recreation. • All dogs must have current rabies, distemper and parvo vaccinations. It is recommended that all dogs be on a flea or heartworm preventative medication. • All dogs shall be under the supervision of individuals 18 years or older. • A maximum of two (2) dogs per person allowed in the park. • No children under age of twelve will be permitted inside the fenced Dog Park area. Children twelve and older inside the fenced Dog Park area must be accompanied by at least one responsible adult eighteen years of age or older. • Professional dog walkers and/or dog trainers are not permitted to use the Dog Park for business purposes. • Aggressive dogs are prohibited from utilizing the Park. The owner must remove a dog from the park at the first sign of aggression. • Female dogs must be spayed and male dogs neutered. • Dogs under six (6) months of age are prohibited. • All dog bites shall be immediately reported to the Health Department. • Sick dogs are prohibited. • No prong (pinch), metal choke, or spiked collars are permitted in the Park. • Owners or person responsible must keep dogs on a leash until inside the fenced Dog Park area. • All dogs must be accompanied by an adult and monitored at all times – abandoning animals is prohibited by law. A leash must be available and ready for use if needed. • Excessive barking or howling in such a manner as to disturb the quiet enjoyment of the other users of the park. • Smoking, alcohol, food or glass containers are prohibited within the park. • Owners or persons responsible shall not allow dogs to dig holes or engage in other activities that may create a safety hazard. Play items must be removed when leaving. • Owners or persons responsible for the dog(s) must clean up after the dog(s). Scoop bags are available at the Dog Park along with a disposal container. • Bringing unregistered dogs to the Dog Park is strictly prohibited.
