Inspired by our beloved dog, Storm, who found his bliss in these very waters, we’ve created a sanctuary in his memory not just for him, but for all dogs who love to swim, play, and simply be the happiest versions of themselves. Nestled in the heart of our tranquil backyard, our pool offers a serene escape for dogs and their owners alike. Designed with love, it’s the perfect size for dogs of all breeds to swim comfortably and safely. 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀: Equipped with easy-access steps, with a deep end of approximately 5 feet and a shallow end of around 3 feet. 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘅𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮: Enjoy poolside loungers or patio chairs shaded under an umbrella while your dog swims. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗢𝘄𝗻: Please bring your own doggy lifejackets, toys/balls, and towels. 𝗖𝗵𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗹: The pool is chlorine-treated, and a hose is available for rinsing off your dog after swimming. 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁: Please brush your dog before visiting to help manage hair in the pool and ensure a pleasant experience for other guests. (We'll do our best to keep the pool clean, but some hair might remain.) 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿: Please do not throw, drop, or toss your dogs into the pool, as this can traumatize and scare them. Join them in the pool to help them have a calm & fun experience. Yes, you can go in the pool with your pups! It's recommended you carry them in or walk them in, but forcing them in could create a negative experience for them. Also, keep them away from the pool walls/sides to prevent scratching, clawing, and potential damage to the pool liner. Dogs can panic and want to escape the pool resulting in damage to the inside walls. if you have questions, please reach out, we are very responsive and want your furry friends to have the best experience. We have plenty of space for running around, playing frisbee, fetch, swimming.. whatever your fur baby is after. We are a small farm, which means we have chickens, ducks and goats. We keep our animals in their coops when fur friends are visiting. ***please note; we require notice at least one day in advance if the animals are to be kept in their coops. Otherwise we let them free range*** The creek has an easy entry location. It’s shallow water at that spot. Deeper water in other areas. Our property is sprayed using a food grade insect deterrent. Plus our chickens free range when there are no dogs around. This means very minimal tick sightings. We have children, so expect some toys around. If you’re bringing children, they’re welcome to play on the play structure. (Pending parental approval and supervision). Plenty of muskoka chairs to relax in while your fur baby plays. The road isn’t right beside the area where fur friends run, however it is accessible from the yard. If you have a dog that’s a flight risk or likes to chase cars, this isn’t the right spot for you. We have lots of dog friends that visit unleashed and listen well to their owners with no issues. Any questions, please ask!

Enjoy our 72 x 170 fully fenced in private yard with your pup! Some features: - plenty of shady and sunny areas all throughout the day! - covered area for humans during inclement weather. - NO MUD. - we will have things like balls/frisbees around but, strongly suggest to bring your own toys/balls to prevent any potential cross-contamination. - access to ravine/creek that is privately owned (NOTE: the ravine area is NOT fenced in and there are property lines that have to be respected. We do NOT recommend this for any dog that does not have a solid recall. But, feel free to leash up and explore!) Bug spray recommended as well and will be provided in the summer months by the gate! ***ACCESS TO CREEK IS OPEN*** Please take note with the rain, the walkway down to the creek may be slippery and the creek may swell after heavy rainfalls. Always take care to check water level from behind the gate before entering. Please use discretion. ****Note: My spot will be closed during heavy rain days and could be closed the following day to allow drying. This is how I can continue to offer a completely mud free space for your pups! ****Note: you will be charged in USD. No service fees and no tax :) (All Canadian Sniffspots are charged in USD) ****Note: VACCINATIONS: Sniffspot requires that all visiting dogs have current DHPP or DA2PP (distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus), and rabies vaccines or current titers and requires guests to confirm this via an “honour system”. While I am not currently asking to be provided with proof of vaccination, I do reserve the right to ask for proof of vaccination at any time. Welcome to Durham Regions only Sniffspot with in ground salt water pool, and fully fenced 1 acre grass yard! 6 ft high privacy fence allowing your dog to zoom around the whole 1 acre backyard! 🤩 We absolutely love dogs, having 5 rescue dogs of our own, we know how tough it can be to find a safe and secure property for them to run and enjoy themselves! So we created our own little backyard heaven for them and would love to share it with others ! Whether it be your dog needs lots of space to run, or prefers to take it slow and sniff around, maybe they are a bit shy or reactive to other dogs/people, our backyard is the perfect space for them to relax, feel safe and explore on their own terms! Lakes in Ontario are often full of high levels of 🦠 bacteria, which can be harmful to pets, don’t risk it, stay safe by bringing them to the pool ☺️ Is it your pups birthday ?? We can set up a table for them for an extra $15 in “extras” - includes tablecloth, banner, dog treats and birthday hat 🎩 We can also accommodate “ Paw-ties”!! 🐾🥳. For up to 20 dogs! For cost please send us a message! We do have 5 rescue dogs, so you may hear some barking from inside, but there will be NO visible or personal contact from our dogs. Pool- if you would like to use the pool with your dog, we would be happy to have you come kick back and relax 😎 This is an additional fee per person per hour and must be booked in the “extra” section when booking in your dog(s) We will provide a towel and pool float for you! 🥰 4 people max, and for 2 hours max. (longer bookings can be accommodated for a fee) No children under 3 in the pool please. No alcohol permitted on the property. There is free street parking either on our street or the side street beside us ✨We don’t supply life jackets for dogs/humans. So if you or your pet is unsure about swimming it is recommended to bring one. ✨ We donate 10% of all profits to a dog rescue that is near and dear to our heart! (We can accommodate larger groups but for an extra fee) IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD this is out of our hands, and is put in place by Sniffspot. They also take 22% off the top from us. We looked at a local kennel close to us with a pool, and seen they charge $20 for 20 minutes. So total it would be $60 for an hour. Plus there are lots of other dogs at the facility which doesn’t work well if you have a reactive dog. We on the other hand are 100% private just for you, and our prices are per hour not just 20 minutes. We wanted to price ourselves as fairly as we could to cover our cost, while still staying as cheap as we could for your pet! 🥰 Safety note- You are fully responsible and liable for your personal safety, your kids safety, and your dogs Safety while in the pool and/or on the property and by booking you acknowledged this and have agreed to this. Come, take a walk through my yard, into the woods and down a slope to get to Cazenovia Creek. While down by the creek, you will most likely not encounter another human being. The piece of creek is bordered by Northrup, Transit and the bridge on Southwestern Boulevard. Feel free to explore through the woods in solitude, it is a 10 minute walk down to the creek. I have an unfenced yard, so please have your furry friend on a leash if they are not leash trained. Once you get into the woods, you are more than welcome to go off leash. This is definitely a walk for boots or hikers. If it has been raining, the trail down will be muddy. The walk to the slope is wooded with many obstacles but definitely walkable ducking here and there under a branch.
