This 5 acre private, fully fenced Sniffspot offers a peaceful and secure environment with plenty of room to run, sniff, play in the pond and explore. The property is quiet and private. It is fully fenced & very secure which is perfect for reactive, anxious, or escape-prone dogs. We have a GSP who is an escape artist, and we've made sure it's safe for her. There are tons of oak trees + natural shade which makes the property cooler and more comfortable with the Florida Sun. Our dogs love the property so much we wanted to share it with others. There is a pond on the property so dogs can sniff around, swim and enjoy the natural setting. There is a fountain and fish in the pond (primarily small Blue Gill and Catfish). We have never seen any gators on the property. They would have to climb the 6 foot fence to get in. Great for multi-dog families. There is enough room for everyone to run free! The property is set back a little from the road. It feels very peaceful. Indoor restroom access now available! Pool, lanai, and WiFi available as an extra. 🕒 Open Daily 6AM to 8PM. 💧 Amenities * Two hoses for bathing. * Shampoo, water bowls and some toys provided. Bring your own towels. :) * Pool, WiFi and lanai access - as an extra upon request. * NEW - Indoor restroom access * Seating for owners throughout the property * Easy parking (grass or driveway) * Quiet, natural environment The yard is treated regularly for fire ants by a professional fire ant company. It is rare to find fire ants on the property. The pond is maintained by a local pond company. Depending on the time of year, the water level and number of Lilly pads (and other vegetation) in the pond changes. The pond water is lowest December-February. The pond is tested monthly for toxic Blue/Green algae and harmful bacteria with OTC kit. Our own dogs are in the pond frequently. We do our best to make sure the pond water is safe, although no test is 100%. We will close and cancel reservations if the pond tests positive for either. We've never had a positive result. We take our pets safety seriously and we do our best to make this the best experience for you and your pet! Please note the house has security cameras and we have two trail cams on the back on the property for safety. We are so happy to offer our yard to other dog lovers. Located minutes from downtown Punta Gorda, gorgeous 2 acres, owner residence on site. Large shady oaks, big dig pit, private pasture and well-cut grass to run and play. Water and toys-FULLY FENCED! 1 couple or 1 owner, 1-3 dogs only. Smaller dogs welcome, just be aware of little gaps, use leash as needed. No small kids or families at our spot for safety reasons. (Beware of red ant piles-we treat often but rains stir them up, dogs usually stay clear-Keep feet moving) Please honor your timeframe with 15 min buffer before & after bookings. Play dates of 5 dogs must be approved in advanced with owners in attendance. Must book under one primary guest only. Please review all notes in my spot profile. Our spot is designed to work with nature, weather and our hobby farm lifestyle. Occassionally we will use the large burn pit and grass will be mowed-rainy days will come and grass may grow tall before next mow.
