*** Happy 2025!! *** How did we get through January so fast!? This year marks the 3rd year I have been open and it has been such an amazing experience. I have loved seeing every one of the dogs and meeting all of you owners! I was able to add a few improvements this year which I hoped helped in the areas it was needed. I still have a long list to fulfill and as always, I am open to suggestions, what is needed, what is not needed! We added more granite to safely pull all the way in and park. The greenhouse is such a fun idea although suffered some damage during the first storm after getting it up. I do have the parts to repair it, bring on the garden season! I am trying to come up with shaded areas in the far far back pasture. That may take more planning and time. But it is on the list. I think the main project when weather allows will be getting some pipes in to add in a hot/cold bathing area. When we can trench more, my husband is going to move some electrical. That will allow me to put a nice little fridge in the barn for a coffee/hot chocolate bar! If my newly acquired hens (not on this property but next door) will cooperate, I will be putting eggs out there when I have extra available to sell. And fencing .. always fencing! Dog park or not that is just a never-ending issue on the farm. We also dug the small pond a little deeper and boy howdy is the water flowing right now! Again, I am always open to and appreciate feedback. We own 40 beautiful acres that back up to BLM government forest land up the mountain. You can enjoy a smaller lower meadow that has meadow grass with a picnic table, and an in ground burn pit with seating or choose a slightly larger more rustic meadow that offers a nice open space that's another great spot for dogs to be free and enjoy being dogs! Either meadow is great for playing fetch, where you can throw frisbees, balls, or other toys. It's a great training ground, bring your training items or it's a nice place to just hang out together, like day camping. Make a day out of it and use an available propane BBQ to cook up some hot dogs or burgers (bring your own food) while you enjoy hanging with your fur babies. If you feel like hiking up rough mountain terrain, you can, if that's your thing. We have several camping spots, picnic tables, and nice BBQ's, as well as burn pits, a hot water outdoor shower, hoses for cold water, and a porta potty. Owners have truly thought of everything! Fence is secure, access is easy, grass is kept up and no burrs in sight. They’ve even included toys, poo bags, treats, chairs, and sunscreen. If it has been raining, be prepared for a small stream running through the middle of the property, my dog got fairly muddy but loved every second of it.

The space was wonderful and the host was so kind! It's the perfect sized location, well kept and secured, and included all the items a dog would need to have a good time. This place is awesome and beautiful! I just got back from taking my 2 dogs, 1 of which is a bit reactive. This spot had everything you need: water, toys, poop bags and trash can, and a few nice places to sit. There was a horse in the neighboring property that the dogs were able to be right next to with just a hog wire fence in between. My dogs ended up being just fine with it, but FYI if your dog would not be a fan. Otherwise the fence line was pretty good and we didn’t have any issues. Also the designated entrance is very well marked so it was easy to figure out where I was going. I definitely recommend this spot, and my pups and I will definitely be coming back!

Amazing. Clean. Pretty. Fenced. Great supplies and toys. I could totally bring a lunch or my laptop while my dogs chill. There’s a small drainage ditch with tiny amount of mud and they got a bit muddy - but there was a hose and a kiddie pool. Couldn’t ask for better! Will return.

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
