55Big open space, fence is in great condition. If it get’s hot outside there are trees that you can hide under. There is also a chair and table for you. They do provide water for your doggy. Great fun! Thx! Victoria L.

55Loved this area and so did the dogs. So much to explore and sniff. Our lab’s nose was going nonstop and was anxious to make sure she didn’t miss any important sniffs. Our Golden did more of a leisurely stroll-and-sniff. The trails were easy to follow and the trees kept the temperatures nice and cool. We will definitely be coming back for another sniffing experience. Patrick B.

55Lovely! A quiet meander around the woods. I was a little nervous in a couple spots where the trail ran up against people's backyards but I just called my dogs away and moved on. I appreciate the multiple spots to sit and being able to drive in! Jessi C.

55Nice property with a few trails. Quiet and clean. Felt safe being there alone with my pup. There are couple of water spots for thirsty pups and picnic tables. Overall we had a good experience. Isa L.

55My dog and I loved it! The space was clean and well maintained, and an hour was the perfect amount of time - my dog took a nap on the drive home. We used our 30 ft leash to prevent her from running off too far or into any neighbors Roslyn W.

55We just went for the first time. Our Golden retriever loved it! He got some much needed exercise and had a good run. There are several water stations set up as well as trash cans. We were able to pull through the gate and park inside, off the street. We walked all the trails and it only took about 20 minutes, so if the human is looking for exercise, that’s limited. There are chairs/picnic tables where you can sit and let the dog run around on his own. Mary D.

55Paul’s spot is amazing. He’s done sooo much work and is a true steward of the land. I visited both Paul and his spot today. What a gracious host, and I even got cookies! This is a spot that you need to visit several times to get the full appreciation of the work he’s done. Definitely book out more than an hour, and bring a picnic to enjoy at the two areas outfitted with picnic tables and fire pits. I booked 2, and could have used 2 more! I’ve got a SniffSpot of my own, but Paul’s place is more “wild” in a GOOD way, which is absolutely perfect for dogs to get the zoomies out. Mary Ann P.

55Since I was last here they added some fencing on either side of the gates and it’s enough to keep my sneakier dog in the spot. Such a lovely place to walk around!Jo B.

55Our dogs absolutely loved this park and so did we. Good trails, pick icky tables, and it was really pretty. When you are on 86th Ave the gate is on your right hand side. We missed it because it looked like 86th went to the left but that actually turned into 84th. So don't miss the gate. We will be back for sure!Amber F.

55This was our first Sniffspot experience and it was AMAZING. We have fours dogs, one who is particularly reactive, so we can’t do regular dog parks. This was probably bigger and way better maintained than a dog park, with no worries about anyone else in the space. Shaundra C.

55My favorite Sniffspot on the peninsula. Both of my German Shepherds love to explore this wonderful wooded area. Enough open ground to play fetch and enough wooded area for your pups to explore. There are a number of short trails to walk while your pups range about. My only concern with this spot is that some trails come close to unfenced areas near homes and streets so being able to recall your distracted pups is recommended.Ron H.

55Very nice trails with thoughtful water stops and trash cans along the way. The areas in are fenced off, and the trails are sectioned off with a good amount of vegetation on the sides. Vanessa B.

FAQ about our Beaver dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 87% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Beaver area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 3 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 2 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
