🐶♥️We have a reactive dog that is afraid of people and I thought it would be such a great opportunity to share our space that we love so much with other people who have reactive dogs or who just don’t have a fenced in yard! This is a safe space for all! ♥️ You will be able to use our driveway. Pull all the way into the driveway and take your dog from your car, directly into the fenced in yard. Theyard is about 3500 to 4000 ft.² around the side of the yard is an area with a table and chairs also a small screened in porch that you are welcome to use with your pup! I will make sure that there is a dog bowl and bags for picking up poop available for you. Trash cans are right as soon as you park! If your dog is not reactive, or if you are working on reactivity, there is gate that exits out through the other side of our yard and you enter the Wissahickon Trail, you are more than welcome to walk the public trail with your leashed dog! My husband built a small rock trail to guide you into the main trail. Also, the patio and chairs are a great spot for people who are working from home. You’re more than welcome to hang out there while your dog get some sniffs and energy out.  **UPDATES: on things we have learned as we have rented (living and learning) 1. patio furniture is put away for the fall/winter 2. Our deck has an open bench area, we have it tied off with rope/planters, we don’t have an issue with our dogs but if your dogs are jumpers we suggest only using the backyard and not the deck. There is a gate to close the deck off to the pups if needed. You can see in the one picture what I mean. 3. There is a small soft spot on the deck (hopefully getting fixed in the warmer months) there is something covering the area as a reminder not to walk on that area. Hill Yard

Private fully fenced in yard, a little over 1000 sqft of running space. There are two separate fenced in sections but a gap between the fence and shed makes it possible for smaller dogs to fit between the two areas. We are working on closing that gap. There is a big brush pile in the far corner of the yard that dogs love investigating. We are a pesticide and fertilizer free yard. There is a large picnic table available and a water bowl for your pup. There will also be a few miscellaneous toys available as well, please make sure your dog isn’t accidentally walking away with a toy. A pooper scooper is available next to the access gate at the top of the driveway (near the garage) along with a silver metal trash bin specifically for dog waste. I will also try to make sure poop bags are available if you prefer using them. Sometimes the neighbors’ dogs are out (the side with the white vinyl fence). They tend to dig at the fence line, please try to discourage your dogs from digging. We’ve tried filling in the hole multiple times. The yard was a deciding factor for us in purchasing this house and we hope your dog(s) have just as much fun as our dog does in this yard.

Please note: oak, mimosa, black walnut, black locust and ginkgo are all common in Philadelphia and all produce seeds/fruit that are poisonous to dogs.
