This park is for the enjoyment of our canine visitor. Aggressive dogs will not be allowed to remain in the park. Dogs must wear a current license tag and have a current rabies vaccination. Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the park. All dogs within the fence must be off leash. Choke collars are prohibited. Dog owners must be present, with leash, and in view of their dog at all times. Dogs must be under voice control at all times. Dog feces must be picked up and disposed of by the owner. Owners must immediately fill in any holes dug by their dogs. Feeding the squirrels is prohibited inside the dog park. People food is prohibited inside the dog park. Alcoholic consumption is prohibited in County parks. The small dog area is recommended for small, fragile, or elderly canine visitors. Children may accompany the family pet if they are under the direct supervision of an adult. In all cases, owners are responsible for the actions of their dogs. Canine and human visitors enter at their own risk. Manatee County cannot be responsible for injuries to visiting dogs, their owners, or others using the park. All special events should be requested through the Parks and Recreation Department. NO park personnel on duty in the dog park.

Park hours: Sunrise to sunset, unless otherwise posted or allowed by special permits. The dog park is closed for maintenance during the following hours: Mondays, 7-10 a.m. - New large and small dog park areas Thursdays, 7-10 a.m. - Old large and small dog park areas Last Friday every month, 2 p.m. until 7 a.m. on Saturday (pesticide spraying) - All dog park areas

Ott's Off-Leash Dog Sanctuary

Neutering/Spaying: All dogs must be neutered or spayed to enter the park. Behavior: Aggressive dogs are not allowed. Dogs must be removed at the first sign of over-aggressive behavior to other dogs or humans. Collars: All dogs must wear a collar in the park at all times. Choke collars or prong collars are not permitted. Vaccinations: Dogs must have a current license tag and be immunized against rabies, distemper, bordetella, and leptospirosis. Cleanliness: Dog feces/waste must be picked up immediately and placed in containers provided. Disposal bags are available. Dog Limit: No more than three (3) dogs per handler per visit. Handler Presence: Dog handlers must be present in sight and voice control of their dog(s) at all times. Leash Rules: All dogs within the fenced area must be off-leash. Food and Drink: No food or alcoholic beverages are allowed. Children: Children under the age of 16 must be under the direct supervision of an adult. Environment: Holes dug by your dog must immediately be filled and covered up.

Dog Park at Kenwood Park

Dog owners must clean up dog waste. Dog owners must be in the park and within view of their dogs at all times. Dog owners must have a leash in hand at all times. Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the park. Agressive dogs are prohibited from the park. There is a limit of two dogs per person. No food or treats for dogs or owners. Dogs must be vaccinated and display current tags. Dog must be under voice control at all times (they should come when called by their owners). Puppies under four months are prohibited. Children under 10 years of age must be under strict supervision. Female dogs in heat are prohibited from the park. Dog owners must immediately fill in any holes their dogs dig. Thank you for observing common courtesy and park rules while visiting this unique St. Petersburg public facility.
