Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Our natural setting has different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), areas great for running, a forested area with several nature trails for a hiking adventure where your dog(s) can run, explore, run & feel free, a large tree’d area that your pups can run under, and a healthy little creek that your pups can wade in, cool off, and drink from. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s). There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s an area where you have to walk on logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit it will have more open space, more trails, and less blackberry bushes. We provide a rain/sun shelter with foldable chairs and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, cornhole, 2 lounge chairs, 4 folding chairs. a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *Seasonal Attention-We have baby bunnies on our property. They usually hide really well, but if your pup finds a baby or a nest, please redirect your pup to try to avoid the bunnies from getting hurt. The blackberries are ripe and yummy right now! Our spot was designed and built specifically to help keep pets in their homes. We are a search and rescue that deals with hard cases and know what its like to have dogs that can’t be around other dogs, animals or people. This spot is dedicated to those dogs in an effort to help keep them active and happy at home so their families don’t have to give them up or have them end up in a shelter. All proceeds from this sniffspot go directly to I Paw’d It Forward's mission of keep families together.

Welcome! We offer a 1 acre, fenced spot for your dog(s) to run, play, dog, sniff and bark! **Please see pic showing details of road work. Sept 3-Oct 11** Beautiful views and farm animal neighbors add to the fun. Shade trees and seating make this spot fun for all! Long and short grass *currently approx 1/3 mowed, the rest is a field of high grass. There is a trail mowed around outside a few through center*, slight hills, a sand pile and dirt to dig in too! We are a farm animal sanctuary and wildlife friendly. There may be long grass, insects, farm animal poo and other farmy stuff. Fun smell things such as feathers, wool, horse hair etc is added for dogs to sniff. All is cruelty free. WINTER: Seasonal pond takes up the lower portion of the spot. It may grow and shrink throughout the season. Dogs love it! Ground will likely be soggy but we will close if entrance becomes unsafe. SUMMER: During warm weather there is a 9’ stock tank pool (not filtered) for dogs. One adult may accompany each dog but please no children. >> Please note! Perimeter fence was replaced and spot now includes additional space! There are more trees and brush included for your dogs sniffing pleasure. Please use caution, there are some new trip hazards and holes. We have walked this multiple times but things may continue to work their way out of the exposed earth. We think dogs will enjoy even more but be aware, it’s a little more wild than before! << Private parking for one or two vehicles available. If additional needed, please message host. Clean porta potty available for guest use. This is also used by others, please keep dogs leashed in this area. This park is dedicated to Dexter, the King of Bork. WARNING FOR 5/17-5/19: The airshow is going on this weekend and many of the planes fly directly over our house which can be incredibly loud. The show goes from 12:30p to about 4p-4:30p but I don’t know if they’ll be practicing before and/or after. This may be scary to some dogs. If you’d still like to come, I suggest bringing ear plugs 😉 If you come and it doesn’t work out then we can set another time for you to come and I’ll make sure that you don’t get charged again. Note: If you stay longer than 1/2 the time you’ve reserved then it will be assume that it did work out for you and you will not be given a rescheduled time at no charge. Our farm is tucked conveniently on Pleasant Hill just a few miles off of I-5. A fully fenced pasture is waiting for peaceful play.

A quarter acre fenced backyard to play fetch in or just let the dogs sniff around! Lots of bird and bunny smells. There’s plenty of seating in the yard but let me know if you need a dry camp chair. Umbrellas and towels will be put out on the front porch on rainy days. Treat jars are hung around the yard on the fence- feel free to use some!

Fully fenced double lot (1/4 acre). There are frequent deer sightings, as well as squirrels and birds. We have 2 dogs as well, so there are plenty of toys laying around in the yard, as well as a sprinkler and a dog pool that can be used. Feel free to come and sit in the chairs on the deck and throw a ball for your dog. There is a ramp for ease of access for older dogs, though there are 2 steps that they would need to climb to get up to the covered deck. The dog water bowl is on the deck.

Located in Beautiful Helvetia. Enjoy the main back yard (fire pit/chairs/ hammock in the summer) fruit trees or the back pasture for longer ball throwing. Both are fully fenced! (Outside water is shut off in the winter) due to pipes freezing. PLEASE use back pasture too where the logs are at!! Go through the right gate! Lift it up and push. Fully fenced back there.
