A place where all dogs get to be dogs. There is plenty of space for your dogs to run off-leash. Great place for frisbee or chuck it. Head into the woods and you will access the creeks. Rubber boots are highly recommended to enjoy the full experience. It's not likely your dog will be able to get to the road but there is no preventing a dog from taking off into the woods. Captain's Retreat at Bear Creek located off Highway 64 in Mocksville! 4.5 acres of fully fenced (woven mesh wire and post/rail 5.5ft to 6ft high) with trails, woods, field, and plenty of room to run and explore! Open the front gate and drive into the secure parking area. ***CLOSE AND LATCH THE GATE BEHIND YOU BEFORE GETTING YOUR DOGS OUT OF THE CAR!*** Walk through gate into the space from the secure parking area. This area has wooded trails as well as cleared areas. Densely wooded areas and thickets all around. TICK PREVENTION IS A MUST! There are no pesticides or herbicides used here. Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Feel free to give your dog a shower/bath! ***Just added dog pool*** For use at no extra charge! Fill up/use if you'd like! We will also provide life jackets for dogs if requested. For the dogs not to comfortable with the lake we have a kiddie pool and a hose than can be set up for use if you want! Bugg's Pet Taxi is offering up our fully fenced yard to sniff! Come lay in the grass and watch the birds or bark at the squirrels (those pesky squirrels!). There are sunny and shady spots to enjoy (see photos)! We provide a water dish for your doggo that is refreshed after each booking. Enjoy our patio and umbrella. We have plenty of room for training (or zoomies!). Feel free to charge your phone. Check back because we will be adding amenities in the future.

We have a low profile, black wrought iron, decorative fence that measures 18' x 18', giving you over 300 feet of play area for your smaller furry friend. There is a water bowl, kiddie pool, toys, poop bags, trash can, chair and small table for pet parents. All surrounded by over 350 acres of field and forest, our piece of heaven on earth.

Our setting is remote and beautiful! Farmland and forest as far as the eye can see, and only 10 minutes from Downtown Mooresville, NC. Sample Road is private and graveled, with parking adjacent to the dog run area, and it's marked. There are also Markers with bright yellow tape designating the run area. We have a burn pit that is available for use during the Fall, Winter and early Spring months. Just give me advanced notice if you would like a fire burning when you arrive. Adjacent to the fire pit is a patio table and 4 chairs for your use. There are Adirondack chairs and a small table for your relaxation in the pet run area. Pet toys are there for your use, too. Even though your dog might be larger, there is a kiddie pool for them to splash about in, most dogs love water. Sweetwater Court Private Dog Playground and Garden is perfect for an apartment pet, condominium pet or the traveling pet who needs a break to run and play off leash. Additionally we have many guests desiring safety for dogs and children to play together. Bring a friend, have a picnic while your dogs play. This is not just our yard; it is our field to the side of our house and a little more than half an acre is fenced. Another 5 1/2 acres offers privacy and serenity. Feel free to let your pet run through the fenced field and dig in the garden. They love sniffing all of the plants and running the rows . We don’t mind! There are plenty of interesting areas for your pet to explore and run and a lot for them to sniff and explore. The field is mowed weekly and may have some bare spots and occasionally dog poop. We are not UPSCALE. ALL BREEDS WELCOME. There is fun for Small and Large dogs. We are located in Southern Guilford County, just 2 miles off Interstates 85 and 73 and 5 miles from Wendover Ave with easy access. We have a water spigot on the property, free puppy pool, hose and spraying fire hydrant. We now have the Sunflower She Shed with an 8 foot covered porch with fan and an air conditioned interior room with refrigerator and snacks to purchase. If it is raining, you are covered. If we have a pop up thunderstorm, please get inside the Sunflower She Shed interior room for your safety. We will discuss money after you are safe. There is a wonderful glider in the shade, several benches with cushions, a hammock, pillows and a lounging blanket are always included. We offer over 1 acre of fully fenced play yard and 10+ acres of UNFENCED trails, pond and woods. Enjoy a picnic on the bank of the pond or bring your fishing pole and catch a fish!
