2.5 acres, fully secure fenced. Relatively level spacious land to run and play! Plenty of parking, a box full of all kinds of toys, treats and poop bags! Gazebo. Private walk in gate and if you have multiple dogs, feel free to drive in thru the big gate to let your dogs out securely. **in light of the unknown respiratory illness that is making the rounds in our area, in an overabundance of caution, please put any used toys and dog bowls into the provided box under the table when you are done. We clean between guests and I disinfect and wash all items before returning them to the toybox. Make sure your dog is not sneezing or coughing for your visit. Updated vaccinations are required. We want our spot to be safe for everyone and need your help to do that. Thank you.** We've noticed a trend of more poop being in our yard. Please make sure you are cleaning up after your dogs so that we can keep the area clean for everyone. Spring is coming which means unpredictable weather. There is no water available through the faucet right now, but soon! However, we have a big igloo thermos of water available for the dogs. For those really cold days, don't forget to bundle up! It can be rainy, muddy, and cold. Please check the weather and plan accordingly. You're able to reschedule as long as it's 2 hours or more before your timed slot. Please contact me directly for reschedules if it's less than 2 hours. Use code NewSpeedyTail for $5 off on your first booking. GPS/Google will get you lost so watch for my detailed chat after booking for specific driving directions. We are starting a birthday club! Tell me your dogs' birthday in chat and you'll get a discount on his birthday (or adoption) month! Want to have a Birthday Pawty? Contact me directly before purchasing. Check out the extras! And if you have something else that you don't see listed in mind, let me know and we can work together on something great! You may wonder why we are higher priced. Well, our goal is not just a dog play area, but a place to raise funds and donations for spay and neuter programs. Our goal is to build strong community connections and collaborate with local shelters/rescues. Once our fence is paid off, we will be donating 1/3 of our revenue to spay and neuter programs based on the amount of bookings we do. Local is very important to us and giving back to our community is our priority. We have bulletin boards for you to advertise your business and spotlight adoptable pets. Feel free to leave your business cards or flyers and I will hang them up. Stay Tuned!

October 2023
Such a beautiful, fun place! We loved all the little trails and of course the creek was a major hit. There's a nice fenced area that you can close off if you just want to sit and let your dogs sniff around. Poop bags and toys were included in that area as well as an umbrella for shade. These hosts thought of everything for a nice, safe adventure out with your pups and Amanda was so very gracious and accommodating! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful property! My dogs loved exploring. I'll have to come back in the spring so my dogs can play in the creek. I paid extra for Amanda to take pictures and it was so fun! Perfect way to get a nice picture of me, my husband, and our dogs. Highly recommend!

June 2023
This spot was wonderful. The area was clean and well kept with short vegetation. The land was fairly even with no large pits or holes. The fence was in good repair with no breaks or even small holes at the bottom or anywhere along the entire perimeter. There is a nice gazebo set up for shade and benches around the property. There is a hose/fresh water available, and many extras. The fencing was higher than 6ft in many places, and was plenty sturdy enough to contain our giant breed dog. I would definitely recommend this property for those with sighthounds or any other dogs who are prone to wandering when unleashed.

Really great spot! We've visited both Dawn to Dusk locations and they are always clean with lots of fresh water and poop bags if you forget yours or run out. The agility and other activities are terrific. Large shaded area at challenge spot.

FAQ about our Coeur d'Alene dog parks

Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 98% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Coeur d'Alene area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 25 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 3 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
