We live on 15 acres, and now have 1.5 acres fully fenced! It is all very flat land making for an easy stroll with your dogs. We are boarded on two edges by farm fields and two edges by neighbors. There is a trail that circles the property, with plenty of space to explore. During the summer, please take advantage of the small kiddie pool. There are also toys and chairs in the fenced area for all guests. Some seasonal things to keep in mind: Spring/fall when we have heavy rain, some areas could have standing water and/or be muddy. Mid to late summer, there are fox tails (cheat grass) that can cling to your dogs. Winter, the trails might not be plowed. There will be a 5gal bucket in the wood shed (inside the fenced area) full of water you can use to refill the two water bowls. Keep an eye out for trip hazards! Logs, sticks, uneven ground and holes.

This spot was wonderful. The area was clean and well kept with short vegetation. The land was fairly even with no large pits or holes. The fence was in good repair with no breaks or even small holes at the bottom or anywhere along the entire perimeter. There is a nice gazebo set up for shade and benches around the property. There is a hose/fresh water available, and many extras. The fencing was higher than 6ft in many places, and was plenty sturdy enough to contain our giant breed dog. I would definitely recommend this property for those with sighthounds or any other dogs who are prone to wandering when unleashed.

This is a great spot to bring your dogs. Our pups had such a great time. Derrick and Kimberly have thought of everything needed to have a fun time. Luna loved digging in the digging spot and Percy was sure tired from chasing his frisbee. We will definitely be back. Dogs had a blast talking with “Mr. Cow” and LOVED seeing the goats (my collie was enamored! 😍) The neighbor dogs are not fence to fence so we loved them running and “talking” with our dogs - it provided additional motivation to run the wiggles out). Our dogs “talked” right back - a very friendly conversation was had by all! Just a lovely, stimulating (without any angst) environment. Speedy Tail Acres is a lovely spot for dogs to run and play! Kimberly and Derrick also made it so welcoming with a doggie treat bag and "hello" sign! Kimberly came out to greet us upon our arrival too. I just wish we had more time to chat, but we had 3 crazy dogs on our hands. :) In the play yard they have a gazebo with misters, too many toys to count, and a small pool for the pups. The acreage was as clean as it could be, not a poop in sight and there were poop bags and trash cans placed in various places around the yard. Thank you for the hospitality! We all had a great time.

Speedy Tails is a big field, perfect for throwing balls with a Chuck-It (which is provided, along with frisbees, etc. The dogs had a great time sniffing and running! Just a gorgeous place with drinking water & running water, a little pool and gazebo for the humans. My golden loves laying in the cool gravel near the gazebo - whichever side has shade, the smooth rocks are actually cold to the touch, somehow. A very nice, clean, easy to find place. Lovely spot! They’ve got a covered area with water misters, fresh water for the pups, the folks are so sweet and we got a little goodie bag of treats, and some stickers which I am a big fan of! 😁 poop bags provided, big chest of toys, table to put your stuff and plenty of chairs. All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.

What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
