Country Run's Private Ranch is 58 acres located just shy of one mile off of Highway 285 off of Pleasant Park Road. An amazing location - a hidden gem. As you walk from the parking area along the path, the property opens up into a beautiful aspen forest with wooden benches and a large meadow. Half way down the meadow on the left (west) side is a small riparian area with Alder trees - the beginning of several spring fed creeks. The hillside on the east side of the property offers rock outcroppings, large rock benches and 360 views. Our dogs thoroughly enjoy their time here and we hope your dog does, too! Depending on the time of year, the spring fed area can be muddy, an old towel is recommended for the drive home. This property is perfect for dog walks, picnics and celebrations. Crystal Peak in Teller County, Colorado is known for its mineral specimens, including amazonite and smoky quartz. The Smoky Hawk Claim on Crystal Peak is said to be the source of some of the world's best amazonite. The area's minerals are highly prized and in short supply.

We have a large backyard that our dogs love! There is plenty of space for them to run around. Two of our surrounding neighbors have horses that can sometimes be seen.

We are just South of Pueblo (Colorado City) in the beautiful southwest plains of Colorado. We get around 320 days of sunshine a year on gently rolling grasslands with stellar views of the Wet Mountains, Pikes Peak and the surrounding mesas.
