My spot is a large grassy area fully fenced with a 5 foot chain link fence and a 6 foot privacy fence. This yard is 100% separate from my personal back yard and truly gives you the private dog park feel! You don’t even have to go behind my house to gain access. If you have a dog(s) who would love a large open area to play fetch and have the zoomies this is the perfect play spot. •We have a picnic table for seating and umbrella for use. •A water hose and kiddie pool for dogs to cool off and play in. •Provided a large Stainless Steel water bowl •Black outdoor box stocked with dog toys, treats and other items for use. •This yard can be lit up with a spot light when daylight savings ends and it gets darker earlier. Plus a street light directly in front of my house. My neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. You may see people walking the neighborhood with other dogs or children from my yard.

In a completely safe neighborhood near Crabtree, there is a small personal wading pool, and the yard doesn't have any grass, but plenty of room to walk around. If this catches on, I will add some more "obstacles" and play things, but good inexpensive option if you would like to just have a place for your dog to hang out while you are at work or away. Will negotiate for longer term stays.

Choose to either kick back and let your dog go full steam ahead in the .5 acre, four foot, fully fenced pup play yard, which has been vetted by dogs small and large, puppies and seniors, and both high energy and couch potatoes alike, or do some on leash training or long lead play in the accompanying open field next to the enclosed yard. Our yard has been tested (and approved) by Pomeranians, Yorkies, Beagles, Pitties, Whippets, and all of our Sniffspot visitors, and it's even horse proof! Natural grass fills the property, with only the occasional use of weed killer along fencelines to keep up with property maintenance and stay on top of bugs. There are several huge shade trees that my pup and his friends enjoy laying under. If you are looking to desensitize your pup to horses, reach out and I may be able to arrange turn out so they can get up close and personal, while maintaining the barrier of the fence. But otherwise, the Spot and the horse pastures are completely separate from each other, giving you and your pups a chance to admire from a distance! ****UPDATE with Hurricane Helene: We blocked appointments for now since the backyard has two large trees and debris is falling at a rate much faster than we can keep up with cleaning at this point. There are small branches, leaves, and small nuts from the trees around the yard and deck. We let our pups roam (our Vet said nuts from these trees can generally be digested safely unless dogs were to eat them all day every day and to definitely keep an eye on smaller dogs with the size of the bigger nuts but we are not health or medical professionals ourselves) so if you’d like us to open it up for you, please message us privately and we can send pics of what it looks like real time if you’d like and open it up for you for the time you’d like. We plan to open it up once we have time to landscape to our professional and pup 110% standards and after storms have cleared. Thank you for understanding and patience as we have humans and doggies safety as top priority**** We offer a fully fenced private backyard oasis that is perfect for both dogs and their human friends! We have 1/4 acre play yard that provides plenty of shade for our guests from the large oak tree on property. Human guests are welcome to use the outdoor chairs on the deck that overlooks play area for dogs. Deck has gates so smaller dogs can have their own secure area if needed. Muddy paws? No thanks! Our property has beautifully landscaped with turf, which is low maintenance for easy cleanup. We provide water bowls, a hose (for quick clean up if needed), and a doggy trash can. You’ll find room to RUN at our Hidden Pond Doggie Play Spot. Located just 1 minute from the center of the Wendell Falls sprawling development, we have about an acre and a half for you and your pups to run around and have fun. About half of it is mostly flat grassland with a slight rolling hill, and the other half is about knee-high to waist-high plants like tall grass, kudzu, and saplings. Your furry friends will love to explore! Down at the bottom of the hill near our neighbor’s little pond, and depending on recent rains, you can usually find about 300 square feet of muddy-puddle-goodness loaded with frogs and tadpoles to chase. Unfortunately the pond is NOT ours and we can NOT grant access to it for any humans or dogs. Please bring your own bags and clean up after your pets for a healthy and hygienic experience for everyone. Plenty of parking for up to 6 vehicles, so bring your friends and their dogs!
