**The pool is officially open as of April 5th!** Welcome! We have a fun property your dogs will love! We have a 2 acre property, which includes approximately a half acre fenced area, a 1 acre unfenced area, and a separately fenced inground pool area. Only dogs are allowed in the swimming pool (unless you're actively helping or playing with them). Two creeks outline our property and dogs are welcome anywhere on the property. We tend to keep the grass in the back of the property a bit longer to support the bees, but it also makes for lots more sniffing for the pups! If you're using the unfenced portion of the yard, dogs must be on leash. We have dogs of our own, but we will keep them secure in the house when you're using the property so you'll have the whole yard and pool to yourself. There have been times that deer will be stuck inside our fencing. Grounds: It is a hilly and lumpy so be careful where you step. You can see holes dug in the yard from dogs. It is fine if they dig. We spot treat poison oak and ivy with an all natural mixture that includes vinegar. We do not use chemicals. ** Watch out for fire ant hills** Water: You have access to our well and a large water bowl. There should be at least one small water bowl in the carport as well. If you need a date and time not available please message me. I may can add you in. I am still figuring out my summer schedule. *** We live outside of the city limits and unfortunately it is not unheard of to hear guns if people are hunting, if you run into this while here and it bothers your pups please let us know and we can offer you a return visit or a refund.***

Lots of sniffs here as five dogs live on property, horses are along back fence and deer are always meandering around. You can park at the gate, in the driveway; no one will be coming or leaving while you are here. Enter through the small gate to the left, next to the column. This property is the front yard. It is very quiet most of the time, but it is a neighborhood, so you might be here when neighbors are doing yard work. Three things: -I have horses (Oliver and Tot - you will know which one is Tot!), your dogs will most probably bark their heads off! Not a problem, they are pretty much bark proof. -I have five dogs. They will never be outside, ever. However, you may hear them barking. I am always here and will quiet them down as best I can. -fire ants. I do not use chemicals on the lawn, so I “spot” treat the mounds. I use a white ant treatment so you can easily identify. Be mindful of them, and be careful of any I may have missed.

This is a very quiet place on a country road where your dogs can be off leash and free to explore nature. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. The grass ranges from 2” mowed, to 4” natural, up to about 12+ inches. A smattering of trees and two sitting areas for you - the gray Adirondack chairs are a bit too heavy to move, but feel free to move the red ones anywhere you would like. ***We will be adding a couple of agility exercise areas for your dog in the next few days. Toward the front of the field, I have mowed a curvy type of track in case you want to work on guided leash training. For you, we will keep a track around the perimeter of the fence mowed so you can use it for a walking track. PLEASE NOTE, the electric fence is DISCONNECTED. This space is located in my backyard and is flat with grass and dirt areas. The space also has a dog run and a 10’x10’x6’ dog pen. The space has a gravel driveway from 2 lane rural road. Road is busy so constant control of your animal is recommended.
