There are some Russian Olive Trees on the South side of the Park that provide wonderful shade, as well as a cottonwood near the North side, providing even more shade. This is an unobstructed, fully fenced pasture where dogs can roam freely. Water is provided at the water pump.

We are located on the Reservoir Ridge trail head, where dogs have to be leashed. We find after a walk on the trail your furry friends like a little run in our enclosed area off leash. We welcome trainers and and dog sitters.

Bring your own water bowl and water, toys, and anything else your dog or dogs might enjoy! A few notes. If your dog or dogs are super reactive to loud noise, other people, or other animals, this may not be the best location for them, the area is business/industrial and near a major road. It is possible that the smallest of dogs, diggers, and jumpers may find ways through the fence, please inspect the fence before letting your pups loose. For mornings and evenings during the summer months, you may want to consider wearing longer clothes and bringing bug spray for mosquitos.

Enjoy the unobstructed views of Longs and Meeker Peaks while your dog runs like it was meant to do. The entire property is 10 acres and the sniffspot area is 6.5 acres. Also have a smaller enclosure that can be used for training,new dog intros, dog birthday parties. You may see us working in our lavender fields while you are here. There had been a few horses and cows in the pasture before but they are gone now. Consider booking for half an hour on hot summer days. Feel free to bring a beverage and a picnic blanket and watch the sunset behind the mountains (book the last slot of the day to watch the sunset).

This property is not fenced in, so your pup must be obedient for safety reasons :) Feel free to park anywhere in the driveway (just please don’t block the garage). My land boundary includes up to the white fence to the North, to route 402 on the South, and up to the private road on the West side of the property. I particularly love the evening hours here; sunsets can be stunning! Depending where you are on the property, you will be treated with views of the foothills and Long’s peak! 11/12/24 - Yard is half mud and half snow. Price has dropped to reflect that. Towels available for clean up. Neighbors house next door has been under construction and workers are usually there off and on working inside of the house between 8am to 4pm, Monday thru Saturday. Neighbor 2 houses down has a dog (male boxer) that sometimes barks. Quiet neighborhood, but still in the city.

For now, I have closed all of those days and into the following week in case there are delays. When I have a firm plan for the start and finish dates, I will reopen the spot for guests. Thanks for Sniffin' at my Spot and Happy Tails! - Jon The Spot: Over 1 acre of fully fenced (6' chain link) field area with a drive-through gate so your dogs can start running right out of the car. The surface is a packed sandy soil with natural vegetation that is mostly dry from the summer heat. A walk around the interior fence line is about 1/4 mile so it's great for the active dog owner too. It's a close-in rural location right in Aurora just two miles east of I-225 from the Sixth Ave exit. While my field area is strictly for the dogs, there is a horse in a corral area next to the dog field. My neighbor has loose chickens on his property. Neither the horse nor the chickens are bothered by dogs. Dogs may bark out of curiosity and that's totally appropriate and ok, but they soon realize that with no reaction there is no need to bark. Sniffin' Hours are: 8:30 am -5:00 pm every day of the week. You may reserve time up to 14 days in advance.
