Welcome to our 1 acre fully fenced private dog park! Some quick tips, make sure to look for our brick driveway as some GPS systems will navigate to our neighbors house. The gates are cattle style gates, to enter the backyard lift straight up on the back metal lever and push forward. Our fencing is mostly split rail fencing with some privacy fencing as well. There is wire around the entire perimeter to ensure safety. If you have extra small or toy size dogs I would recommend caution, but the fence is secure. We occasionally hear some dogs barking in our neighborhood, and my dogs on occasion but rarely may bark as well. I would also note that there are a few indoor/outdoor cats in our neighborhood that can be seen from time to time. There is a train that runs along the back of the house beyond the fence up on the hill. The dogs never seem to mind it though! Other than that, it is a very quiet neighborhood. I hope you enjoy!

Rabbits, groundhogs, and squirrels are plentiful! Field mowed area in some spots, so not all lawn cut grass at this time. It is mowed regularly but may be of varying heights throughout the summer. Woods are available to walk through; however, no trails are available yet (coming soon!). Privacy in the backyard, may see occasional joggers or fishermen on the street out front. A beautiful spot with fair amount of shades and sun. Very clean relaxing atmosphere. Being able to release our very excited pups off leash safely from the driveway is a plus. I brought our foster dog for a meet and greet with potential adopters and Snow’s spot was perfect! It’s lots of land for them to run and explore with very secure fencing. Plus they have a larger yard and a smaller yard that makes it perfect for dogs meeting for the first time to make friends or for smaller dogs in the smaller yard and bigger dogs in the bigger yard. She also had a kiddie pool setup and water bowls and toys. Plus there is a playground for kids and a cool tree swing for people. It’s a beautiful spot with lots of beautiful landscaping and plenty of shade. We will definitely be back!

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
