55Nice to have this spot in the Bangor area! Very nice, clean spot, good-sized yard, for dogs to be able to run or train, not too large, not too small. Both sunny and shady areas. My 2 doggos left tired and hot. The yard is well-fenced, with an occasional gap under fence, partially blocked by rocks/cinder blocks, that a small dog or very-determined medium dog might be able to slip through. Jennifer said they would be filling/blocking those areas. Trash can available, bring your own poop bags. We will be returning to this Sniffspot. Thanks!Becky S.

One of our dogs is a runner and an escape artist so we need a 6 ft fence and we scanned it first to make sure he wouldn't be able to get under the fence either, and we found it to be secure. My three dogs loved this space! One of our dogs is a runner and an escape artist so we need a 6 ft fence and we scanned it first to make sure he wouldn't be able to get under the fence either, and we found it to be secure. The grounds were clean, there was a full clean bowl of water, toys and poop bags. We will be back!

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
