Updated November 1 2024 Daily 8 A.M. until 5:30 P.M. we offer a partially fenced 100 acre property where your dogs can run free. We have 2 official trails currently, plus 2 groomed 1 acre field play areas. At this time there are also 2 large fields that have been harvested of soy and are perfect for walking and playing. We have chairs in the first field for you to relax. We have a Chuckit available to throw balls for your dogs. Fresh well water in a bucket, for dogs, and bowls, are provided in the first field also. There is a pond at the bottom of the first field to the right. I don't recommend it for humans at all and only for dogs in May, but dogs have been swimming in there all summer and fall and seem to be liking it fine! From there we have a mile long gravel walking trail along fields and forest. It's very straight, and if you stay on the trail, you can't get lost. It is very quiet and peaceful. Part way back there is a small run-off creek and metal culvert that is suitable for dog swimming in the spring, and this summer, due to all the rain we have had. This is marked with orange (kinda yellow now) pylons so is avoidable if you put your dogs back on a lead as you pass. You can often see deer, wild turkeys and lots of birds, sometimes bald eagles. A walk to the end and back is 2 miles and takes 40 minutes at a moderate pace. Just past the culvert, we offer a trail around 2 plowed wheat fields going East. It's along woods and takes about 15 minutes ending back on the main trail. In the second wheat field, there is a trail cam along the edge on the far East side, so be advised. It faces the deer blind on the opposite side of the field. 4 people bow hunt our property, but not very often, and the Spot will be closed when they are hunting. Only bow hunting is allowed, except for one week in December and no one will be allowed to walk the property during that week. I have photos posted to show you where the cameras are. They are totally avoidable! They are up from October to December and if we do capture your image, or your dog's, we will simply delete it. Note that our calendar will be blocked whenever the Spot is being used for any sort of hunting. Just past the entrance to the wheat fields on the main trail, we have several soybean fields that have been harvested and are very flat. They have now been planted with winter wheat. You can go wherever you like on these fields! Just past these fields on the main trail, there is a deer tree stand on the West side. Currently we have a trail camera at the base of this stand so be advised. It faces along the tree line, going north so is easy to avoid. After this you will reach the base of the big hill along the main trail. The Shady Walk and small field there are closed at this time. Be dressed for gravel on the trail, uneven footing on the wheat field trail, and potential water and mud puddles on the property in wet seasons and after rain. The main trail runs North/South so if you want a sunny walk, go at midday. A shaded walk, go after 3 p.m. Cooler times are before 11 a.m. and after 4 this time of year. Once the snow falls, you can walk through the woods. We have a white garbage can for poop but please use biodegradable dog poop bags. ***IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD per hour for the first dog, subsequent dogs are $6/hour and guests will be charged in USD*** On your way home, stop at MacKinnon's brewery just down the road for food and drinks. Walking trails to the river

I have 5 acres of meadow with trails cut through it. Behind my property is a private, seasonal road that I don’t own. I have a tiny house on wheels that I live it year round. I will have water set up. I do have a pond in my property that can be used. There are tons of apples to be had as well as berries in season. I have patio furniture set up for sitting.

Property also features hayfeilds, trails, some unmaintained ponds and lots of wildlife. Farm has horses, ducks, chickens and barn cats.
