Wide Open Space

Time for rain boots! Stream goes through the middle of the spot and it gets muddy so wear your rain boots! Wide open pasture, fully fenced in. There's only one spot with irrigation so it gets dry, crackling, and some parts down to dirt in the summer. We do have an area that is grass for the dogs to roll around in. In the winter there can be a stream of water going through the middle of the pasture after rain. We have a Big water dish for dogs. Small pool for dogs to play in. Have toys and treats for the pups. Have friends with dogs?! Bring them all and come make a day of it! Feel free to bring a bbq, stereo, or games. Plenty of room for both the pups and the people to hang out and have a good time! We now have a porta potty for guests!! There are sheep in adjacent pasture certain times of the year but there is a 50+ foot buffer zone fenced off to keep sheep away from the fence.

Country Serenity Private Dog Park In Woodland

Country Serenity is a 1/2 acre fully fenced non-irrigated pasture which is on our 20 acre farm. Note: Current conditions are dry and the spot is 90% covered with medium bark to keep down the weeds and native grass. Please come prepared for these conditions. Spring brings possible ticks, mosquitos, foxtails on the periphery and some mud. Hours of operation are generally 7:30 am-7:30 pm, but no lighting is provided so hours fluctuate with the dawn and dusk. Adjacent to the dog park is a barn with 2 friendly dwarf goats and some chickens. Enjoy the views of our olive orchard, a seasonal pond and 360 degree panorama of beautiful farmland right from the park. Please be aware that this is a working farm in an agricultural area so you may see and hear farm equipment and crop dusters in the vicinity. Let us know if you want to visit our farm store before or after your visit. We have our Gold Medal winning Frate Sole Olive oil and Copper Hill balsamic vinegar, local Woodland farmers like us. North Natomas Regional Dog Park

Dog owners/handlers are personally and legally responsible for their animals. You are using these facilities at your own risk. Dogs may be off a leash only within the designated fenced area. Owners/handlers must clean up after their dogs. Dogs must have a current license, license must be on dogs' collar, the collar must be on the dog. Aggressive dogs are not allowed. The owner/handler of any dog exhibiting aggressive or unruly behavior are required to immediately remove the offending animal. For every two dogs brought to the park, there must be at least one owner/handler. Children less than 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Female dogs in season are not allowed at the facility.

Park is open from dawn until dusk. Dogs must be leashed when entering or leaving the safety of the Dog Park. Dogs and children must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum of 3 dogs per adult. Dogs that are aggressive, in heat or sick are not allowed. All dogs must have current vaccinations and license. Owners are required to pick-up and dispose of their dog's feces both in and out of the Dog Park. No strollers, carriages, bicycles, or children's toy allowed in Dog Park. No smoking, alcoholic beverages, food or dog treats allowed in Dog Park. Owners must carry a leash and closely supervise their dog(s) at all times. Owners are liable for injuries or damage caused by their dogs. Small dog park is limited to dogs weighing 25 pounds or lighter; large dog park is open to dogs of all sizes. No digging allowed. Equipment in dog park is for dogs only. Please do not let your children climb on the equipment. Owners use the park at their own risk. Cosumnes CSD Department of Parks and Recreation is not responsible for injury or illness to dogs or owners.
