Roulette's Retreat - in honor of our dog who we lost to cancer. Conveniently located near Route 74 and Route 30. Fully fenced with 5ft chain link - the neighbor does have one dog that may be outside. The fences are over 10 feet apart. Small, simple yard with enough room for zoomies & fetch. The concrete patio in the backyard has a table and chairs with a shade sail over it. This property is 5 acres of mostly open space about 1 acre is wooded that lines the property. We do have a barn where we keep chickens. We let our chickens free range, however they typically stay at the barn area. We are 5 minutes off of Routes 11/15 and 2 miles outside of the town of Liverpool. We offer a wrap-around upper porch where you can sit and swing while watching your doggos. We offer many amenities if you do not see one listed we can make accommodations. I work from home so I am available at all times. We have a 2-year-old toddler who loves all animals. We also have 2 huskies, and 1 outside cat. We also offer doggy daycare and overnight boarding if you need those services.

We are centrally located near York Hospital and York College. Easy access with off street parking. Dog towels are provided when the pool is open. Pool closes on October 9, 2024 and will reopen in April 2025. Weather permitting, the large back yard is open year round. We ask that you try to keep your dogs from playing on the pool cover.

Located on a small private horse farm, we offer a safe and fun place to come play with agility equipment, run around, and just have fun. We do not offer lessons or agility training, and all equipment is for entertainment and playing. While some pieces are "competition quality" they are NOT intended to be representative of a true agility school's professional obstacles. Please know your dog's limitations and be smart and safe when using the equipment. The yard is fairly well lighted so that use in the short days of winter is possible. When booking during the dark, lights will be turned on for use. There is seating and a toy box that you can feel free to use. There are security cameras mounted near the back door as well as several outdoor security cameras on various outbuildings. Booking this spot means consent to monitoring. The deck is considered a private area and not open for use at this time.

We do have a “puppy” pool if you’d like us to fill it up before you come, please let us know asap! Dog toys are in the tiny ottoman! Our SniffSpot Play Yard is fully fenced in with a 6ft tall wooden privacy fence. We have 19 wooded acres with our boarding facility being located at the South end of our property, the owners personal residence in the middle and our private SniffSpot play yard at the North end of our property. We do have a nice walking trail that meanders through our property but please be aware that our Playful Pups Retreat Staff may be walking overnight boarding dogs on the trail during our business hours. There is a container with a few toys to play with inside the SniffSpot yard but we do suggest bringing your own toys. Please bring poop bags and clean up after your pet. Please take bags of poop with you or stop at Playful Pups and dispose of it in one of our outdoor trash receptacles. FOR NOISE SENSITIVE DOGS! PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO HAVE A GUN CLUB NOT FAR FROM THIS PLAY YARD. DEPENDING ON THE DAY THERE MAY BE GUNFIRE. This is an extension of Tina’s Dog House SniffSpot, but for dogs who can play off leash in an open field & woods without full fencing. Or if you just want to walk your dog on leash. Approximately 4 acres including woods, the field borders only 2 neighbors with acreage & no dogs. There is no road or traffic. The property sits back off of a dead end road. You will access the field from the right side of the upper driveway before you get to the gate. Park in the grass and walk back over the hill behind the small garage. All of that area is mine too, but it’s also closest to neighbors. You’ll have more privacy and your pup will have less distractions if you go down back. You will be permitted to use the field beyond the fenced yard only, because there may be other SniffSpot customers paying for the fenced yard at the same time. If you have concerns about another dog being inside the fence, feel free to message me first and if it’s not booked, I can block the calendar for the time you want to use the field so no other dogs or people are here inside the yard. I do also have a small dog friendly BnB and on some days there may be other dogs here. I ask guests to keep their dogs inside during your visit. In spring, summer, & fall I will have a hose run down to the fence and water bowls for the dogs. I can provide some seating in the shade for you as well.
