This is a great spot for reactive dogs and non socials as I am situated on 5 acres and almost 2 of the acres are fully fenced for the SniffSpot. My neighbors are very spaced out as well, so u have a very quiet visit. Also a great spot for training ( we have added agility equipment, we have 2 huge tires and an A Frame ladder). We provide dog water, a few toys, shelter and shade. There are cable spools, weave poles, a tunnel and a jump for your dog to use for confidence building and exercise! ❄️ During the winter months, please plan to bring water for your dog. Wayne County Dog Park

No children allowed unless accompanied by an adult. Children MUST be closely supervised by an adult and must behave appropriately: no running, shouting, chasing dogs, or petting other’s dogs without the owner’s permission.  Females in heat and puppies under four (4) months old are prohibited.  Dogs must be licensed, de-wormed, and vaccinated as required.  Clean up and dispose of feces left by your dog.  Fill any holes your dog may dig.  Limit of 2 dogs per application. Limit of 2 dogs per adult per visit to the Dog Park.  Access Codes cannot be shared between pet owners.  Dogs must be leashed prior to entering and upon leaving the park. Owners must carry a leash for each dog.  Keep your dogs in sight and never leave dogs in the park unattended. Spayed/neutered animals are recommended.  No aggressive dogs allowed. Immediately leash your dog and leave the park if aggressive behavior is observed.  Keep barking to a minimum.  No food of any kind is allowed within the fenced area.  The park is open from dawn to dusk year-round.  Small Dog Park Area is for dogs less than 20 lbs. only.  When Hines Drive is closed to vehicle traffic, dog park members can go around the Merriman Rd. barricades and parks their vehicles along Merriman Hollow Drive but you must Walk your dog across Hines Drive to gain access to the Dog Park.  Upon registration, you will be issued a membership card that you must bring with you while using the park. In an effort to keep the park as safe as possible, Wayne County Sheriffs will be randomly patrolling the grounds and checking Members for their cards. Not being able to present your Membership Card when asked by the sheriffs, could result in a violation being issued.

Park hours: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday.

Livonia Dog Park

Dog(s) must be on a leash when entering and exiting the Dog Park fenced area. 2. Dog(s) exhibiting aggressive behavior or barking excessively must be immediately removed from the park. Aggressive behaviors can include, but is not limited to, the following: guttural barking, lunging, showing teeth and snarling. 3. Minimum age for users is 18 years of age. Children between 6-17 years of age may enter with a parent or guardian. Children younger than 6 years of age are not permitted in the Dog Park fenced area. 4. Dog(s) must be supervised at all times. Never leave your dog(s) in the park unattended. 5. Users must clean up their dog(s) waste and deposit it in the receptacles provided. 6. No people food, dog food or treats are allowed in the park. 7. The following are not permitted in the Dog Park: dogs defined as vicious or potentially vicious (ord. 6.07), dogs under the age of four months, dogs with contagious diseases or internal or external parasites, aggressive dogs, dogs on a leash, dogs with a harness or pinch, prong, spike or chain collars, dog toys, smoking, alcoholic beverages, glass containers, professional dog trainers, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, strollers, and animals other than dogs. 8. Dog Park hours are from dawn to dusk, but not before 7 a.m. or after 9 p.m.

Owners are responsible for their dog's actions and any injury they may incur or cause. • Don't let your dog be a bully. Pay attention to how other dogs are reacting (e.g., if the other dog is trying to stay away from your dog, their fur is up on their back, and/or their tail is tucked). This means the other dog isn't comfortable with your dog. • Aggression is never allowed. If there is a problem, go to a separate part of the park. Additionally, let management know of any incidents. • Always clean up after your dog in the mowed areas. Paw Playground

Please fill out a Membership Agreement before using the park. Dogs must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older at all times, except for CHS youth volunteers. Limit of two dogs per adult. Dogs must be leashed when entering or exiting the playground. Owners should remain within the fenced area at all times with their leash. Always clean up after your dog. Bags and trash cans are provided. If holes are dug, please fill them in. Owners are legally responsible for their dogs and any injuries they may cause. Dogs must have a current license and be up-to-date on vaccinations. No dogs under four months of age are allowed in the park as dogs under four months are not yet protected by all necessary vaccinations. Dogs in heat are prohibited. Spayed or neutered animals are recommended. If you bring children to the Paw Playground, supervise them closely. Always keep your eye on your dog, mischief can happen quickly. If your dog becomes unruly or plays rough, please use the “TIME OUT AREA”, or leash him and leave immediately. Cooperation between dog owners is essential. No smoking or people food allowed inside the fenced in area. Cascades Humane Society reserves the right to ban any animal or person for the safety of those using the park. Remember, everyone’s dog is as precious to them as your dog is to you. Please be considerate.
