Porta Potty for humans. large mowed areas to throw a ball of Frisbee. Large pond with an easy in and out slope into the water for young and senior pups. A small Jon boat with paddle for a pup water tour of the pond. A selection of different size life Jackets for pups and humans. A bulletin board with a sample display of a Blue Green Algae test kit that can be purchased on Amazon’s. An area next to it where guests who do the tests can post the day, time and results for other pup owners to see. An array of pup towels to dry off with and a drying line. A Muddy Paw Spa wash station b4 they get back in the car, multiple large shaded sitting areas. A 10’x 10’ sand filled dig box for the pups who just have a need to dig. A “Tug of War”spring loaded grab bar for pups who like a good tug of war. Multiple pup fresh water dispensers, with bowls for them. Multiple Doggie Poop Depots with poop bag dispensers so for your convenience, no need to carry that around while you explore the 15 acres. ( Fair Warning.. very low tolerance for a guest who does not pick up after their pup) Two wooded trails areas that we have just begun to develop for the wild side areas to explore. A Large professional Obstacle Course with most of the obstacles course pieces seen on U-Tube. Toy stations with a large variety of toys to select from (Please be considerate for the next guest, return them back to the station after use). Porta Potty for humans was hand sanitizer, lime dispenser to process waste and illuminate odor. Two Frisbee Gulf course areas under development. Bring your own disks to play while you pup sniffs,…or rent a back pac of putters, mid range and long range disks from us. This 15+ acres of hay field is mostly fenced, with an opening at the top. If you choose, there is a path along the outside that leads to a creek(unfenced) to the right at the field. There are dogs at the front of the property, which are fenced in. There is possibility of hearing barking from them or neighbors. I teach dog training at the red barn, you may come to parking lot of cars. Dogs will always be leashed and under control and typically away from the parking lot. The students are instructed to leave you alone. Off road parking, I will give clear directions before arrival. Come roam around a huge open space! Alex was such a gracious and warm host standing in for John and Stephanie - thank you! The dogs were in heaven between the sun dappled pastures, the creek, mud puddles and tiny bridges. And what a relief to see the poo composter at the exit to make some deposits vs carrying it back in the car. (Bring compostable dog poop bags!) We had the perfect excursion, ending with eating our sandwiches in the lower pasture while the pups dried off in the sun before the drive home.

Simply amazing! I had missed my first booking and John was really kind about that. :) Their friend Alex showed us around when we arrived and was a great host. My nervous dog balked at the cattle on the way in and the sweet goats on the way out. She's a mess. But! She made it through and once we got through the paddock gates, she was in heaven! So many trails to wander and creeks to splash in. My old dog loved it too. I brought a friend and we spent a good chunk of time happily sitting on a cute bench under some beautiful trees. She had a great time and I couldn't be more grateful for a place like this! Thank you!

This is such a cool spot. Sooo pretty with lots to explore. Really enjoy wandering the trails....I can totally unwind in the peacefulness of the woods while Cooper is running amuck finding new paths. The creek is a real bonus in warm weather....clean, clear water and just the right size for an occasional dip. John & Stephanie are the kindest, sweetest hosts imaginable and we always feel so welcome. One of our most regular stomping grounds, we just love love love it here. ♥

We had an amazing first trip to Fiveash Farm! John walked us through the pasture (on leash) so my pups wouldn't be tempted to chase chickens or bunnies or goats LOL. Once on the other side my fur babies had the time of their lives running through the woods, splashing in the creek and sniffing all the wild smells. Fantastic hosts, fantastic spot, tired pups passed out now! 😊

This is our second visit to Spring Acre’s at Fiveash Farm. Similar to our first visit, the hosts greeted us warmly. They showed us through their pasture that includes cattle, goats, and chickens (I believe they have an alternative entrance upon request). Once safely outside of the pasture, it was off-leash exploring! This place is a DREAM for those that enjoy hiking with their pups, but have reservations about seeing other dogs along the way. It was nice being able to enjoy the crafted trails, while letting the pup sniff and explore at her pace and desire. Once into the woods, it feels almost entirely secluded from the world (some spots you can see the farm, and others hear traffic noise from the road). For being a private hike though, I would choose it every time over say... Rattlesnake Ledge. Even more exciting, once the pup was safely back in our car, the hosts gave us an up close meet and greet with their Scottish Highland cows! They’re such beautiful, and docile animals!! I am so very grateful the host have offered to share their space! I can’t wait to go back!!
