The property is a horse ranch on 25 acres surrounded by private forest. There is a shallow year round creek that is refreshingly cold and also a large pond that your dog can swim in. There are hiking trails that start at the edge of the property. The trails are mostly uphill. The outdoor and indoor arenas are available for an extra fee. They are mostly dog proof for large dogs but not escape proof for small dogs. The horses wander around the property early in the morning so if your dog chases horses it should be kept on a leash around the horses. I recommend that I show you around your first time out here. To get here you must be prepared to drive down 5 miles of gravel road. There is a gate to get into the property. The gate code will be sent to you with the welcoming message. Cell phone signals are weak once you get on the gravel so check the pre-visit message sent two hours before the appointment before you get out of cell service.

This is a small private homestead, we do have goats, chickens and ducks. Also a flower garden and fruit and nut trees. The front part of the property is fenced, but the rest of the acreage is not. We also have 2 doggy poop stations for you to dispose of all the gifts your pooch may leave behind. At the top of the hill there are 2 Adirondack chairs for you to catch your breath and take in the spectacular view, as well as a seating area in the woods!

There are a couple of spots along the fence line that have openings at the bottom or gaps. Also, damage from the ice storm caused some damage to the property line fencing. See photos. FRONT PASTURE IS CLOSED. Unfortunately, it is not handicapped accessible. Gopher, mole, and dog holes are to be expected. Mud during the rainy season. Sheep keep pastures trimmed and fertilized.

Brought my two dogs who love to adventure and be off leash and this was the PERFECT SPOT. It’s out in the country surrounded by big rolling hills of Corvallis area. The driveway views are pretty and was fun driving out. There are a few pastures to walk through before the lake and big pasture area. My dogs loved running into the lake and then doing zoomies around. Lori was kind to greet me first thing and give me some pointers and advice. A gem of a place for sure!! Thank you for letting us use your property for some bonding time and adventures!

My dogs were sooo excited to get back here! The open mowed field is actually quite soft and even for them to race around on and the access to the pond and creek are heaven for them. And so much for them to sniff and explore! Lori has put up another seat by the creek and its so pleasant to just sit there and relax for a few minutes while the dogs are moseying about. Amazing first time visiting the place! The host’s welcome message includes very helpful directions to reach her place. She was very nice and welcoming. She provided us with a helpful map of the property which included trails on her property as well. The property consist of multiple water sources including a creek and a couple ponds to cool off!!! There was also a pasture which was perfect for fetch. The trails were perfect for a cool down and sniffing after all the sprinting! Overall an awesome place and we will be coming back!

We had such a great time here! Lori was such a great host. She sent very clear instructions on how to get to her house and then met us as we came in. She drew us a map of her property so we could go exploring. We spent 2 hours and still didn't find all the trails. We ran around the huge pastures, played in the ponds and creek, and hiked through the forests and hills. Trails were well taken of. Pastures were cut when we went. We had so much fun. Definitely going again!

We enjoyed our time at Bellfountain. It was a nice variety of open meadow for straight out chasing but also wooded paths for more sniffs that could be counted. Our lab Izzy enjoyed cooling off in the creek and the ponds. This time of year, it was muddy as is to be expected so prepare for that. We will return as the peace and quiet was worth it! Lori had a map at our arrival and having a bathroom for use prior to departure a definite plus.

Host greeted us and gave us a map,, told us where a restroom was if needed. We felt very welcome and safe. We spent our time with our lab at the large, clean pond. This pond has easy entry and exit for dogs. Additionally, it also has spots that a dog can "launch" into the water. We will spend more time exploring the trails next time. The location was peaceful and relaxing. Our pup loved it!

Super helpful and accommodating host! The property is huge and beautiful, with lots of well maintained trails. There is good visibility, so you can spot anything that might distract your dog. The big grassy area feels enclosed even though it isn’t fully fenced, and was an awesome place to practice recall.

Pot holes have been filled in and sign clearly indicates where you can park. Host offered to let us use the arena because it was raining so hard, which was really thoughtful. Still, we braved the rain because the property is beautiful and so much to do! Great spot.

Absolutely amazing visit! This was our second time here. Host is accommodating and friendly worth the drive even if it’s not super close. Our first visit I had training dogs so we decided to go in the fully fenced field and had a great time. This time (our second visit) we brought our personal dogs to the rest of the property, the host gave us a detailed map of the property and explained it to us and we didn’t wanna leave!! 1 hour is definitely not enough time and we will be booking longer next time. The pot holes were annoying last time on the multiple mile drive way to the property but they are almost all filled in now so the drive was much much better super easy pretty drive now!!! Our dogs had a blast, the water features were absolutely the best, especially in the warmer months. I highly recommend you check out this spot especially if your dogs have a good recall and can walk the whole property.
