Great new spot! It's huge and has so much to explore including a little lake. My dog had a blast and is exhausted now. Definitely wear long pants and decent shoes!

Wow what a beautiful spot! So happy to have this close to Austin. My dogs could get out of the fence at a few places but I think the fencing was better than described, and I just call them back over (but wouldn't be a good fit for a dog who takes off). Super secluded, doesn't seem to have any nearby neighbors. There is some barbed wire the owner seems like she's clearing out but again she was honest about it! For us it's a 10/10 spot!

I wanted to say it was so cool that the last time I was here the owner reached out to see where my dog got out of the fence so she could fix it! It's a huge property so I'm sure securing the fence will take her some time but wow, how cool is that! I heard very quiet hound baying that was far away, but the immediate neighbors had no dogs and it would not bother most reactive dogs.

This was an amazing spots. Lots of land, lots of different textures and elevations. Would recommend wearing closed toe shoes with good grip, there are quite a few places with steep inclines and loose rocks. My dog absolutely loved it. If you have a high energy pup, scope out the landscape first and make sure to guide your dog a few times over certain paths to avoid holes and loose rocks. Finding the entrance can be tricky so really pay attention to the map given. Beyond that bring water for the pups, and some mosquitos/bug repellent. Also if you plan on playing with toys with your pup make sure they are brightly colored and have tails, or are large. The grass is in pretty tall and it’s easy to loose sight of things.

Great experience, lots of exploring and space for the dogs to run. We walked almost all of the property some areas the vegetation was super thick. Overall a fantastic spot.

When you drive into the area, at the end of the grassy lane there is a swing gate on the right and that’s where you can go to the water.

The directions that Monica gives are very accurate. Just be sure to pay attention when you are driving. The spot is beautiful, with plenty of shade to rest in and a ton of room to run and explore. The dogs had a great time. It was just what they needed. We stayed for two hours, and brought a lot of water. The spot was very well cared for and free of waste. 10/10. Absolutely no one to trigger my reactive dog, it was very endearing to see her run and explore just how I wish she could everyday. She struggles with reactivity and fear, but was able to be her true self today.

We loved this spot! The trails are perfect for exploring new smells. There’s a pond, small hills, open areas and trees—a little of everything for the pups. The directions were spot on. Thanks for a fun morning!

Absolutely fantastic place for pups to explore. There’s open fields and trees and trails…you couldn’t ask for more fun for a dog. Monica is great to deal with and give you exact directions on how to get to the property. Me and my dogs highly recommend Oscar‘s Acres and will be heading back as soon as we can!
