Public dog park
Owners are legally responsible for the actions of their dogs. 2. All breeds of dogs are allowed in the Park, subject to applicable Park District Code provision relating to specific breeds or specific dogs found to be aggressive. 3. No one under the age of 18 is allowed unless accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 8 are not allowed in the “off-leash” area. 4. A maximum of two (2) dogs are allowed per handler. 5. Keep your dog(s) on leash until you are inside the fenced “off-leash” designated area. Leaving dogs unattended is prohibited. Handlers must monitor and control their dog(s) at all times. While inside the off-leash area, you must keep one leash per dog with you at all times. 6. Aggressive dogs must be immediately removed from the Park and will be permanently barred from reentry into the Park. 7. In the event of dog bite or injury, owner/Guardian must exchange information and phone number. 8. “Scoop your poop”. Owners must clean up after their dogs. 9. Dogs must be current on all vaccinations and must wear a current rabies tag. 10. Puppies under four (4) months of age are not allowed in the Park. 11. Dogs in heat are not allowed in the Park. 12. No food, drinks, dog treats or smoking is allowed. Water hydrants are available near the shelters. 13. Spiked collars are not allowed to be used while in the Park. Only flat collars and/or a harness may be used. 14. Dog toys may be used in the park unless the use of such toys creates disruptive behavior among other dogs.

Dogs can play in either of two out door areas. Both are fully fenced and offer out door play equipment. There is off street parking. There is seating for humans.

So no worries of dog nappings or mistreatment. Water buckets for pets and home made doggie treats. Bring a chair and sit around the fire pit or soon our concrete picnic area which is currently being updated. If you'd like to rent it privately arrangements can be made. I will do the poop scooping throughout the day. If doggie sitting is needed we can set an appointment to discuss specific needs and fees. If you stay with your pet total price is never more then $20. Per visit. This summer my yards going to the dogs. Either my son or I will always be on property as long as we have canine quests. And Hazel is here to get the fun started. It is brand new. We just got it finished last week. It's a great place for dogs to run around and have some fun. It has a fire pit you can come and cook hot dogs on the fire pit and not worry about your dogs.
