We got that cleared up fast and then our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed their hour on this beautiful and impeccably maintained property. Everything was as represented and the amenities were thoughtful. My only comment was that the lower rails on the horse fencing in the two lower pastures were too high to contain our water obsessed shorty. This wasn’t a safety issue in terms of traffic or other animals, but he kept darting under the fence to get to the pond. This would not be an issue for a larger dog or one that doesn’t lose its mind in the presence of water. The upper pasture with its mesh fencing was a better choice for us an amply big to enjoy. Unfortunately my dogs have a high prey drive and the main gate is not fully fenced out so I was unable to let the dogs completely off leash. I was worried one of my dogs would leave the property that we were in through the front gate and get lost in the rest of the 10 acres surrounding the location as it is simply a cattle gate that any dog could fit through. It was dumping rain so playing in the water was not an option. If you have a dog with high prey drive or poor recall, it may not be the best spot for off leash fun but next time I return I will utilize long lines and come back on a sunny day. It is a great place for training around Ducks, water, horses, recall practice and a beautiful and Serene environment to hang out in with your pooch on a sunny day. It is also a wonderful environment for a leashed sniff walk for highly reactive dogs or dogs who are convalescing, leash restrictions or seniors. There were no other humans or dogs present.
