Large 1/3 acre lot, perfect to chuck it far and tire out your canine. | Sniffspot
55This was such a great spot to allow my pups' to run and zoom around :) They had a lot of fun sniffing, rolling in the dirt/grass, running in the sun, and relaxing in the shade. There was water (but we brought our own), a handy dandy poop bucket, poop bag station, some chuck-its, and awesome agility. There was one dried up poop situation which we picked up, but pretty clean :) Be prepared for some soil/sand messes. Overall I think this is an absolutely amazing spot for NON-reactive dogs.
Here comes all everything you might need to know if you have a reactive dog, like me!
- This spot is fairly quiet. For the most part we only heard bird chirps and felt the countryside air and wind. HOWEVER, there were some guys right on the other side of the fence speaking to each other in a rather loud voice. My reactive dogs did not notice because of how excited they were, though. These guys were right behind a boat (?) parked behind a gate (different from the one you enter from). So if your dog is smart enough, they would see these guys. Other than that that whole side has a line of shrubs and trees, which gives a very secluded feeling.
- The front side of this spot, where the agility equipment are, is right next to the road. Which means there is a HIGH chance that someone with a dog will pass by across the road, or even right next to the fence. Luckily, the time slot we chose was an odd one on a weekday so there was no one.
- The amazon prime guy!! I think he knows about the sniffspot and gets barked at often. It was a great training experience for my pup, but he did drive right by us and walk up to the sniffspot home (right next to the sniffspot) and drop the package off.
CONCLUSION: If you have a reactive dog... this spot may give you problems, but there are chances that it also won't give you problems. I'd say the chances are 50/50 and if you are okay with being alert at a sniffspot, go for it! There's plenty of distince within the sniffspot and trees to block. I'm sure you know by now, as a reactive dog owner, that you should NEVER go anywhere without some treats :) Good luck!

55I love this sniff spot. Its clean, easy to get to, has room to run as well as small training obstacles. My 80lb doberman gets tired out everytime we go. Definitely recommend for all doggos. Andie H.

55Ed and Brigette obviously put a lot of work into making their SniffSpot an excellent hangout. Our pups had a blast exploring the woods, playing in the pool and chasing each other on the lawn. The two seating areas were both comfortable. The bandanas and treats were such a sweet touch too. The only thing to note for visitors would be if you have a small escape artist like we do, the fence is not buried and there were a few spots she tried to sneak under. We just know we have to keep a good eye on her. If you don’t have a tiny escape artist the fencing is solid. Overall we so enjoyed our time and will absolutely be back!MaryAlice X.

55Our pup loved the trails! We went back and forth between walking the trails and throwing the ball in the grassy area. Plenty of shade and they even had a little pool for the pups if they enjoy water. The owners daughter made our pup the cutest bandana! Excellent experience! We’ll definitely be back. Jacqueline W.

55Had a last minute Sniffspot to end the weekend. Enjoyed another late afternoon here. Even as a returning client, the hosts provided a Hawaiian print bandana and more treats. They are also open to suggestions, so look forward to coming back again.Corazon B.

55One of my pups is a poop magnet….and I’m happy to report that he didn’t locate anyone else’s leftovers. This is so much appreciated in shared spaces and speaks to how well maintained the space is. Meghan M.

55Hands down our favorite SniffSpot. For the first time my dog refused to walk to the car, he was too happy to be there. Multiple terrains, which I always like for my puppy. A nice, large path for us to walk together. A rock for my puppy to jump onto/build confidence. Multiple bowls with water. A kiddie pool (which I can never make my dog jump in)! So many well thought out pieces to this SniffSpot and I truly appreciate it. If we were leaving Washington in a couple weeks I would definitely subscribe. Stephanie J.

55This was our first visit, and our guy had a blast. He is very fearful of anyone or any other animals outside his pack, so it is difficult finding safe secure places for him to be off leash. The owner eased our nerves 😂 with great communication, and we had a great visit. Another plus for us, it’s super close to home. Thank you again for easing our minds. A nice little personal touch, was the goodie bag that was waiting, he loved the snacks and the bandana. Such a sweet gesture. Stacy R.

55This was our second time here, and it was great. Jeffrey loves all the grass! Today was a rainy day, so we didn’t stay the full hour. However, this is a perfect option for rainy days if you have a dog like mine who refuses baths. With all the grass, he can play without getting super dirty. Huge thanks for letting us play here!Josh H.

55Speaking for Ollie, Emma and Moose, I can tell you that they thoroughly enjoyed their play day!
They ran, sniffed around ate some fruit and ran some more. And they loved the water feature. So, for the three of them and the two of us, many thanks! We'll be back! You can count in it.

55Wow! This place is super cool! The hosts are nice, personable and provided so much more than one would expect. We enjoyed the trails, listening to birds, and just the fresh air. It was great to practice hiking off-leash, recall and stay. We will be coming back, for sure!

55Great spot! I received a friendly greeting from the owner and then we were off exploring the field and trail. The big red ball left out for us was a huge hit! We’ll be back!
Recommendation for others - wear mosquito repellent!! I got bit a few times in the wooded area and I won’t forget the bug spray next time! Chloe D.

FAQ about our Tenino fully fenced dog parks
Are fully fenced dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. Human and animal safety is our #1 focus. Without a private option, many dog owners are relegated to using athletic fields or tennis courts for their dogs, which are not private or safe. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. And with fully fenced Sniffspot parks, you can get the safety of a fenced-in space for dogs, while still having plenty of space to run.
How can I find fully fenced dog parks in Tenino?

How do I know if a fully fenced dog park works for my dog?
Many people looking for fully fenced parks have dogs that are not good with voice control. Start by applying basic filters, such as fences height and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. You can see attributes of fences such as height, gaps and fencing type to find the perfect fenced-in space for dogs. You can filter by size to make sure you have plenty of space, or a smaller space if you prefer a neighborhood park. You can browse on a map by park location to find one in your city or near your city. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our off-leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible near the space. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to check features you want for your activity, such as fresh water, trail features such as soft trails or walking trails, or even water fountains. If you prefer wood chips, many of our parks have wood chips or indoor space if you prefer a beautiful park building.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot fully fenced dog park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit use by pregnant dogs and we do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules, such as staying within the designated off-leash areas. Each park location also has their own set of rules that guests need to follow, such as limiting excessive barking.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot fully fenced dog park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
