55Very long but beautiful drive. Note it is down a dirt road(prepare to wash your car) and the acreage is a steep hill and with gorgeous view. No shade but the host left an umbrella. There is water for pups but bring extra (my GSD just knocked them over). Great place, would recommend. Well worth the drive. Shannon G.

55This spot is great! I had no worries about my dog getting out of the fence, they had water provided, lots of balls to play with and an umbrella to use in the rain. The hill is perfectly sized for anyone's pup to get all their energy out on. 10/10 will recommend, and will definitely be back soon!Brock L.

55Our babies loved the big grassy area. We enjoyed the views and the drive up
Was lovely. The host had great communication and provided water and a place to sit and enjoy the views. The ground is quite uneven and steep so wear good sturdy shoes. Tracie S.

55Up visiting from NorCal for a nose work trial and wanted to get the dogs out for some decompress time. We were so lucky to find this gem. The dogs had a blast! You can walk as much or as little as you want. The setting was gorgeous. The wild flowers were beautiful. And the dogs had the best time exploring. The fencing was secure and fresh water was available. I want to move to OR so we can come back here. What a fantastic experience for dogs and humans alike. Linda C.

55We took our 3 husky breeds to this location. This was our first time using SniffSpot. The host was well organized with signage and communicated to us prior to our visit about parking and gate access. The dogs had a great time romping around the hillside. They never get that much off-leash freedom. One was pooped after 10 minutes! Overall a great time! I am sure we will visit again. Laurie T.

55What a lovely spot! The drive through the country was peaceful and the spot itself was great! Our dogs (Pyrenees, St Bernard, Newfoundland and Pit bull) had so much fun exploring every inch of the 2 acres. There are shady spots under trees for lots of sniffs and open grassy areas to run. We had a wonderful visit and hope to be back! I’d say the only thing for visitors to be aware of is folks with mobility issues might have some trouble navigating the entire fenced area because of the slope and uneven ground. But there is a big flat area with a picnic table to sit and enjoy the view while puppos play. Wendy S.

55As others have noted the last mile is a dirt/gravel roads so prepare for bumps and there is quite the hill/grade for the majority of the spot. The humans will want good shoes for uneven terrain
We enjoyed the quiet and space. The host did a good job of communicating about water and parking.
The field has been mowed down and there are paths around some brambles. Please note some of the mowed areas did contain blackberries so there are pokie bits and branches around Margaret M.

55We had a wonderful time! Make sure to read the directions regarding directions/parking before you start driving so you can orient your maps correctly (the parking area uses a different address than the house). This is a great area that was enough room for our 80lb dog to romp and play. She loved it! Note: it is possible to see the street a little bit through the slats in the fence so extremely reactive dogs may alert to people walking past, etc. Not a problem for us, and we had a fantastic time!Katie C.

55We loved this spot. Plenty of space and shade, fresh water bowls throughout, poop bags/drop, plenty of spots for humans to sit. We especially liked the sound of the water feature in the distance - makes us want to come back and just stay for a while & read in the yard. There’s a little noise from the street nearby but our dog who’s terrified of his own shadow & was off leash for his very first time, wasn’t too bothered by the street - just heard the cars, looked up, and kept sniffing. We’re looking forward to coming back regularly. PRiSM B.

55Awesome spot! Large area, there were dog toys, water bowl, and poop bags all provided by the host! The fence is low on one side so if your dog has a history of jumping fences this might not be the best spot for you, but it was perfect for me and my clients dogs. Jesse T.

55Easy parking (if you follow the host's instructions) and very good signage. Fenced play area is the front yard of the house so I felt a little as if I were trespassing but that's just me. Note that this yard does have mole holes which can be an issue if you have dogs like mine that run faster than they think.Val & Paul K.

55Great yard in a nice quiet neighborhood! Host was great responding to messages. I had asked about water bowls and that the amenities said something about a hose. She got back to me super fast and was extremely helpful and kind and gave me good info since she wouldn’t be there during the visit. As others have said, parking is easy to figure out if you read the provided instructions. Lots of signs to point you in the right direction and host provides good info and how to gain access. Would definitely come again!Brianna S.

FAQ about our Tillamook dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
How can I find dog fields in Tillamook?
There are 22 dog fields in the Tillamook area. The most popular dog field is Whistlestop Private Dog Park. You can browse all of our dog fields here.
How do I know if a dog field works for my dog?
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
How much do Sniffspot fields cost?
Dog fields in the Tillamook area range from $12.0 and $12.0. The least expensive dog field is Whistlestop Private Dog Park. The most expensive dog field is Whistlestop Private Dog Park. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
