My two dogs had so much fun visiting this new Sniffspot! The wooded atmosphere was so peaceful and offered plenty of shade to keep cool. My pups spent the entire hour sniffing, which for my border collie is rare! So the smells must be amazing here :) We walked the perimeter and the fencing was just fine for even my little corgi. We spent some time relaxing in the shade in the provided chairs, with great views to keep pups in sight while they follow their noses. 5/5 and we’ll definitely be back!! Thank you for sharing your property with us!

My Shepherd and I loved it there. A forest setting with little hills and areas to explore. He was happy to get some exploring done and sniff new smells. Secure fencing all around. Friendly host welcomed us. Long drive from Medford but worth it.

This was a great place to let my dogs roam free, they were safe & secure the entire time. Lots of different terrain for them to explore and water was for the dogs. Plenty of places throughout the property to sit & watch my dogs, they also had bottled water & snacks for the humans! Will be back again!

This is a great fully fenced spot and my dogs loved it! There was initial interest in the chicken coop, but we were able to distract them pretty well. There was wide open spaces for them to run, but also some hills and trees for interesting spaces. They are worn out! We will definitely visit on a regular basis!

This acreage is delightful. A mix of gently sloped land with lots of trees and bushes. The whole area is completely fenced and you have the run of the property. There are a few chickens that greet you and tended to draw my dog’s attention but once we were past that hurdle all was great.

Tons of space for pups to run and play. One of my pups was really distracted by the chickens and goats in the pen right at entrance. Overall a great experience and highly recommend for high energy pups.

Very beautiful, gentle piece of land that is well groomed and park-like. Plenty of space for the dogs to run. Very quiet. Host has great communication. Goat pen is inside the dog area just as an FYI if you have dogs that might be interested in them.

Beautiful property, beautiful day, the dogs had plenty to do and we enjoyed the country air. I walked the fence line and everything is very secure. The property was cleaner than I expected because that’s a lot of area to keep clean. We really enjoyed our hour and will be returning again Lord Willing.

Are dog parks good for dogs?

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.

Are dog parks safe?

While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
