The Sniffspot venue is a 3 acre fully fenced area that you and your dog will have unsupervised, exclusive use of for the time that you have booked. There, you will find fresh filtered (RO) water for your canine companions, an abundance of toys, Chuckit balls and launchers, including guest supplies and other listed amenities. The entire farm is 36 fenced acres. For anyone interested, I will gladly provide supervised walks around the entire property for additional psychological enrichment at no additional cost. Note: Palmhill is a working organic farm. There may be an occasional worker sighting, but absolutely no reason for any employee to ever interact with a guest or their dogs. My interests lie in offering an affordable, stress-free, large, safe, clean, offleash venue for guests and their canine companions. Thanks to an awesome group of guests who have been with us since first opening the venue, this has been a very rewarding experience. However, there have been, a few guests who have not been doing a very good job of cleaning up after their own dogs which makes it very unpleasant for the guests who come in to the venue next. I have many visitors who pick up dog droppings of other people's dogs and don't say a word, and also return toys and balls to the recepticles, but they shouldn't have to! I actually had a guest say to me once, "Oh, I thought you had people to do that!" No, everyone is responsible for cleaning up after themselves before they leave the field. That's how we keep the venue tidy and affordable! I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation. I've had to post a list of reminders at the venue, (thank you, Michele) which I feel terrible about because they're not relevant for the MAJOROTY of Palmhill's guests. It's just a handful of mostly newer guests who aren't being very team friendly. I've met some awesome people and even more so awesome dogs, but sorry to say, if you don't play fair, you will be asked not to come back to this venue. Everyone is welcome including, large groups, highly reactive dogs, special needs dogs- dogs with anxiety, physical handicaps, previous dog park trauma dogs, etc. We love them all and will do our best to make everyone feel welcome! The whole place is so big, you shouldn't have a problem getting a good amount of walking/running in, without coming too close to the un-fenced side. I walked around for about 2 miles, and I'm guessing my dogs probably did twice that 😆 The host was nice and allowed extra time, because I took a wrong turn coming there and was late to my booked time. LEASH dogs while entering and leaving the Off-Leash area. Users must monitor and control their dogs at all times. Owners must clean up after their dogs. Aggressive dogs and dogs in heat are prohibited. Dogs must be removed from Off-Leash area if aggressive. No more than three dogs per family allowed at one time. Dogs must have current licenses and have no contagious diseases. Dog owner must remain in Off-Leash area with dog. Dogs must be under voice control at all times. Dog owner must have leash on hand at all times for each dog. Puppies under 4 months of age are not recommended. Spaying and neutering of dogs is recommended. Parents must closely supervise children. Parents must ask permission from the dog owner for children to play with a dog. Excessive barking is not allowed. Pet treats or food are not allowed. Fill any hole your dog digs. Dog training is not allowed in the leash-free area. Training may be allowed in other areas of the park by permit only. Contact the RB Center Director for more information. The Leash-Free area is subject to closure without notice for maintenance. dditional Regulations: Please keep dogs on leash while walking to/from the dog park Proper way to enter/exit the pens: -enter first gate and close door behind you. -remove leash before entering the pen -close door behind you after entering the pen -when leaving, do not place leash on your dog in the pen. Exit the pen into the entrance way, close the door behind you and then place the leash on your dog. No food inside the pens. -no people food, no dog food -- nothing edible at all. Amazing piece of property for the pups, and a very kind and welcoming host. The space has everything you could want - and more. We came in just after sunset, but felt very safe/comfortable as the dogs had their light up collars on. So many toys, water and seating options. Without any doubt the best sniff spot we have found, we have been coming here regularly for almost a year and our Pepper 🐕 keeps loving it as much as the beginning, we also love hiking 🥾 and we have found so many cool and remote places around this area to enjoy a cool down walk after our ⚽️ work outs! Wonderful safe spacious yard. Easy to find & paved parking. Nice hosts. Variated terrain, gently sloping with lots of room for a large dog to run and explore. Everything is well-fenced, areas that are off limits are completely fenced off. There was a lot of dog poop in several large-ish sections of the yard on our visit, but it was a very rainy wet day, So I doubt anyone reall wanted to be on poop duty! There was a pooper scooper and bottle of water with a dog bowl by the gate. Very glad to have this new spacious sniff spot close to home, Thank you to the hosts. We'll be back.

This was our second visit and we had a great time playing hide and seek and running around. Huge, fun safe yard Hosts messaged me after my first visit (which was during the heavy rain), apologizing for all the dog poop in the backyard as they had just returned from out of town and did not know the dog sitter hadn't cleaned up after the dogs.

Are dog fields safe?

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
