55Beautiful and amazing place to bring your pup(s). Very secure and you also feel a little bit like you’re in a secret garden. My dog enjoys walking the little trail they have, he thinks he’s hiking off leash! Love this spot! Moorea M.

55This was perfect for my dog, who would rather run and explore than catch balls. If I were to chuck a ball, it would get immediately lost in all of the blackberry bramble that takes over much of the yard. But the trails that cut through the bramble, bushes, creek and trees were fun for us to take mini hikes around. Nice shady spots to put chairs in, which they supplied. I liked the privacy. Can be slippery when jumping over or crossing the small creek at various points.Elizabeth W.

55My foster dog had the best time playing here today! She loved all the trails. She had so much fun playfully hiding from me and then doing zoomies. She is terrified of water, so I was shocked when she jumped in the creek and had the time of her life. I couldn't have asked for a better day with her! Reese S.

55This is a really nice area, and our two dogs (40 & 55 pounds) especially loved charging through the creek. There's lots on opportunities for dogs to climb, wade in water, and sniff. Much of the area beyond the open space at the entrance is narrow walking trails and a lot of blackberry bushes, so not necessarily hospitable for more than one person wide.
We did see a baby rabbit, and we were able to distract our dogs before they saw it. I imagine it wouldn't be an ideal space for any dogs with very strong prey drives, or very stubborn dogs who can't be deterred.
Great lawn chairs for us, along with a lot of helpful equipment including hand sanitizing wipes, small towels, and poo bags. Jillian S.

55Wow, this place is amazing! Bring your hiking shoes. We played hide and seek with the boys and they loved it. Don’t bother bringing a ball as it’ll be lost in the bushes. If the creek is running, bring a towel. It’s a fun spot and we’ll definitely be back!Jeffrey J.

55Great spot! Our first time here and the pups had a super time. Definitely a place to wear shoes that are meant to get dirty. A nice creek runs through the area so dogs got muddy but the hosts have towels to wipe off paws. The trails are basically a loop which we did 3 times. Love it and we will be back! Jennifer P.

55Another fun time at Nature in the City Dog Park! Big guy loves to run the trails and play in the creek while the little one gets lost in the bushes. Tons of sniffs for both pups and a nice time outside for the humans. Be prepared for muddy paws and make sure to wear shoes that can get dirty, but also get ready to have fun!Jennifer P.

FAQ about our Vancouver dog water parks
Are dog water parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. If you are worried about whether you can have an enjoyable water experience, just know that it is possible to have peace of mind when visiting dog waterparks by following basic safety guidelines. Some great ways to stay safe around water with your dog include learning canine CPR and keep an eye on your dog at all times to ensure they are not distressed. You can learn more about safety around water here.
How can I find the best dog water parks in Vancouver?
There are 28 dog water parks in the Vancouver area. The most popular dog water park is Nature in the City Private Dog Park. You can browse all of our dog water parks here.
How do I know if a dog water park works for my dog?
Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog water parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog water parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to see what kind of water features are offered to make sure it works for your dog. If your dog is not a strong swimmer, then perhaps choose a dog water park with tamer water features rather than a river or beach, for instance. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking water park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot water park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Additionally, we recommend following our water safety guidelines.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot water park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
How much do Sniffspot dog water parks cost?
Dog water parks in the Vancouver area range from $12.0 and $12.0. The least expensive dog water park is Bell River Ranch. The most expensive dog water park is Bell River Ranch. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
Can I have an event or party at a dog water park?

Many water parks allow doggie birthday parties, training and other event types. Event organizers need to be responsible for their guests and event organizers should coordinate with the host regarding their fun party.
