Alicia's Fully Fenced Play Yard For Dogs In Port Washington

This spacious yard is perfect for pups who want to zoomie and play or dogs who just want to lay in the sun. There's plenty of room to run and lots of plants and flowers to explore. There may even be a squirrel or two to chase! There are several chairs for owners to relax in, as well as a patio table. In the winter, we do cover our patio furniture but place camping chairs outside during visits for seating. Guests can use the driveway, and a garbage can is available in the front of the house. The fence has a separate gate for entry, so you have a private way to get into the yard. We have a hose available for dog drinking water (we shut the water off at the end of Ocotber so the lines dont freeze), and there's ample shade, as well as sun. At night, the patio is lit. There's also a small decorative pond near the patio. Like many homes in Port Washington, we have walnut trees. We do our best to pick them up in the fall when they drop, but the yard will likely have them as we hit autumn. As someone with a reactive dog, I know how important it is for dogs to have their private playtime. I can't wait for your pup to visit and enjoy their off-leash time!

My Sniffspot is just south of I-94 and across from Lower Nemahbin Lake access. You will see a foster care sign at the end of the driveway. The address is 1635 North Sawyer Road. It is well-marked. We do have beehives (located near the barn), fenced ducks & chickens (not visible from the field), and barn cats that wander the area. One rooster free ranges but he and none of the other animals will approach you or your dogs. You may also see deer or wild turkeys. Because we want all of these animals, including your dogs to be safe, please keep dogs on leash when outside the field and be in control of them at all times. The private dog park has 3 agility jumps, 1 short tunnel, and miniature weave poles. Feel free to adjust any of the jumps to fit your dog(s)' jump height. You can also create your own agility course! The park provides a cot, three chairs, some toys, and 2 throwing sticks. The Toys are located on top of a purple bin and there are more toys inside of the bin you can take out! A hose/sprinkler is provided in the summer! More agility equipment will be added in the spring/summer. There is plenty of space to let your furry friend run free! Please note: I am a high school student and my parents are letting me maintain the Sniffspot to earn money. Therefore, I may not be able to respond to messages right away if I am in class, but I will try my best!

Great property to walk with large and small dogs. The entire back lot is fully fenced and plenty of running space for frisbee or ball. Disposable water bowls can be found in our welcome bin. A hose will be available in summer and a water jug in winter. A small patch of uncut brush in the back is great for jumping sniffing and tracking the high branches are cleared for humans to also walk through:) located near wetlands some of the fencing extends through overgrowth or wetland and brush/scrub tree areas it can be damp in wet weather times. The ENTIRE BACK lot is fully secure, originally built to contain our dachshunds and our late Great Dane. Because we own several small dogs (and also a large dog) ourselves it is checked regularly for any holes, or wear. (If you see any holes please let us know ASAP) Our dogs will be kenneled when you visit! Extra notes: *We live near a gun range and during hunting seasons and summer primarily range noise can be heard in the distance. Weekdays are quieter in general for all noises :) * Please note in spring/ fall thaw and heavy rain parts of our yard so stay soggy and even wet for some time -appropriate footwear should be considered (rubber boots are ideal)-we have towels for dogs in our welcome bin. Canine Respiratory Illness! Here’s what we are doing! -disposable one-visit bowls are to be found in our bin, please use them for your dogs and then dispose of them before you go or take them home. -we will continue to disinfect the toys provided at least once a day with our dog-safe disinfectant Effer-San. -We ask that you place used toys in the used toy bin after use. - in the summer the patio and grass near the house will be sprayed with our dog-safe disinfectant Wishy-Wash once a day. -We do this for our dogs as well as for yours

You will find a beautiful spacious half acre for your dog to race around and explore in a 6 foot high chain link fully enclosed park along with many amenities we offer. As an extra, ( see extra’s) you can use our open property, horse pastures, pine trees and a wild life pond We just need to know well ahead of time so we can move the horses out, turn off the power and open the fences. There will be signs of horses. ( 💩) We have a popular rope pull tree, some agility equipment, balls and toys along with other things you would expect like seating, disposal bags, garbage, water for you and your dog. We offer seperate water dishes that are sanitized in our dishwasher and jugs of water. There is a lot to smell and hunt for (nature and critter scents) Ample space and fence is secure. Our dogs are small so we ensured no gaps or lifting and check regularly. Behind the shrub line by house is the same; securely fenced. The Unfenced Back half part of our property continues all the way to the south tree line. There are apple trees where deer feed, sand hill crane family visits and other wildlife pop up at times, so good sniffing there. At the tree line there is a pathway to a field and the school’s baseball diamonds. That become public property fun for the dogs to explore, especially on long leads, and commonly used. Dogs must be on leash anytime outside of the fenced area. The Oak Creek Parkway trails are also close by for longer walks. (In storage for winter)There is a table & chairs by the side garage walkway/door with toys, treats for pups and humans, bottled water and more for your use. Dog water bowl cleaner between uses and extra pitcher of water for refill or cleaning. Yard is regularly walked and guests have been wonderfully respectful of not leaving pup presents 💩 behind 😊 We do our best to accommodate all requests, even ones not listed.
