Michele is a fantastic host and the farm is amazing to visit. We had so much fun exploring. Guests may want to bring a change of clothes to go swimming in the pond with their fur babies. The farm is gigantic and there is a lot to see. My dog and I cannot wait to visit again!!

We had such a blast today! This sniffspot is perfect for letting dogs let loose and decompress. We always felt safe knowing they’re fenced in, but there was so much to explore it felt like the world was their oyster! We will definitely be back.. again and again.

I wasn't sure how my dogs would behave around horses, but they both did great! My bigger dog really enjoyed swimming in the pond. There was so much property to walk around and explore. Lots of new smells for the dogs! We will definitely be back again and again!!

Visiting Silk Purse Farm, was a fantastic experience for my two dogs and me. The place was exquisite and picturesque. The hosts were friendly and kind. My pups (especially my Aussie) had an incredible time playing and exploring. Although we are just passing through the area, experiencing Silk Purse Farms will be a forever cherished memory for myself and fur babies. If you are fortunate to be able to attend every day, I truly recommend doing it, your fur babies will be eternally grateful, plus it is safer and healthier than a dog park.

This spot was wonderful! I wasn’t sure how the dogs would do around the horses so we stayed further away from the barn, but it was so much fun!

Was a little tricky to find the entrance, but the host was very helpful and responded immediately. We loved our run around with the pond and the dirt mounds. There is livestock around but they're very neutral to dogs - just keep your own pups under control and you'll have a blast!

We had so much fun! The pups enjoyed all the new smells and really had room to get their zoomies out. They also discovered a new breed of GIANT dogs (horses) that they were not so sure of 😂 would definitely come back!

Our pups had so much fun! We kept the escape artist dog on a long leash, some of the mesh in the fence is just big enough that he could slip through. And my dog definitely needed a bath after rolling in the horse poop, but with his happy smile, worth the extra layer of shampoo 😆. The other animals where fun to watch, horses, goats and I think I saw a donkey. Small pond is great for cooling off after running around (or washing off all mud). Host is quick to respond and very nice. We will definitely come back!

Absolutely amazing spot and fantastic owners. This is a beautiful, big spot that could keep your pup entertained for hours!

55My shepherds had the time of their lives living out their farm dog dreams here! They enjoyed playing fetch in the big fields and swimming in the pond. My dachshund had fun too but had to stay on a long line just to be safe with the chickens and geese. Notes: I would only recommend this spot for dogs that are desensitized to livestock and have a solid recall and leave it command. Use caution if your pup doesn’t like strangers or other dogs, but they should be fine. The farm animals cannot entirely be avoided. You have to be in close proximity to enter the property, and many are free roaming. Two goats and a few horses approached us throughout our time there. There were none at the far end of the pasture during our visit, but their droppings (where that leave it comes in if your dog tends to scavenge) indicate that you may run into them anywhere. We did unexpectedly see three people and a leashed dog on the property, despite Sniffspot rules not allowing anyone to be outside during a visit. I’m not docking a star, since the amount of land made them pretty easily avoidable and they didn’t approach us. Just a possibility to be aware of if you think you’re paying for a completely private dog park. Lastly, while the property is fully fenced, I wouldn’t depend on it with a dog that’s a flight risk. The wire is bent down in some places and could easily be jumped.Niki F.

The host was very gracious & helpful with my husband & I being directionally challenged! Our pups spent almost the entire time in the pond swimming and had the best time. We kept our dogs on long lines - would recommend the same for others with very curious pups. Definitely will want dogs to be desensitized to livestock for any off leash activities- it’s good opportunity for leashed pups to get some playtime and safe exposure. Our pups are worn out and had a great time exploring!

We had a good time today. There are rolling hills, little pond, and farm animals. Be prepared to get a little dirty if you really want to play. We will definitely be back.

What a cool Sniffspot! It is truly beautiful with more than enough mental stimulation for any pooch. Valerie was welcoming & patient about explaining the safety rules, which gave me the confidence to let my dog check everything out at her own pace. There are farm animals around but they steered clear of us and only added to the fun of smelling new scents for my dog. Other dogs on the property stayed in their own enclosure and didn’t bother us at all. There is a very nice shady place with chairs for humans to relax under a canopy and some beautiful wind chimes but frankly I was too excited to sit still as my dog ran amok in unfettered joy. This is the perfect place for training and hands on pet parents who enjoy exposing their dog to new experiences and challenges. Really looking forward to coming back for some playtime in the obstacle course! I highly recommend this place for anyone to visit. Thank you so much for making it available and so affordable!!
