The pastures are cross-fenced, allowing for room to explore but not too far. An indoor riding arena is available as an add-on. It is enclosed on three sides, keeping the wind and weather out during playtime. It is well-lit for evening use. Horses offer additional entertainment but are always a safe distance with a large space (enough to drive a large truck through) between fence lines. The animals are not reactive to the dogs even when barking at them. The farm animals don't respond to the dogs, so often the dogs move on to exploring the space. We have some simple agility items in the space along with balls and other toys to help entertain both you and your dogs. As a guest, you have access to: * Fully Fenced Acre of play space for off-leash adventures * Water - Lift the green handle to start the flow of water * Poop baggies * White garbage can * Dog towels, clean ones in the clear container, and dirty ones go into the grey tote. We ask you to use 1 towel per visit if possible. * Porta Potty * Shelter with chairs and a small table you can put anywhere in the field during your visit we just ask that you put them back when you are done. * During the summer days we include a doggie pool. They are blue kiddie pools. Double them up when you use them so they are easier to empty and less likely to break. Please dump the pool and return it to the corner when you are finished. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: This is a field that has uneven ground including mole and gopher holes. Please watch your step. Please keep within the Sniffspot area. If you happen to throw a ball over a fence just message me and I can retrieve it for you. It is important to stay outside of areas marked private property. Those gates also have extra locks, but we want to be sure everyone stays safe. We have a shade (or rain) canopy with a picnic table under it, fresh water, toys, and poop bags. :) I have 3 dogs that roam the upper 2 acres of the property, which is my backyard. Sterling (border collie) Piper (border collie) and our newest member Wriggley ( husky mix) SHE was supposed to be a foster dog, but we fell in love with her... If your dogs roam up to the very edge of the Woods where the 4 acres are divided, you will most likely hear my pups if they are outside. We have placed a privacy material along the fencing so that the dogs will not be able to have any contact, but they will see shadows through the material. My pups may bark and run up and down the fence line as you play in the forest if they hear you. The property adjacent to us is the home of two nice dogs. If our neighbors let them into their back field, there is a chance you and your dog will hear them. If you have aggressive or reactive dogs, PLEASE give me a heads up. What a great new spot! Bobbi truly thought of everything. Toys, water, treats, bags, a nice place to sit if it should be raining. Actually the porch is so adorable even if it's not raining it's nice to sit in there. My dogs enjoyed the variety of buildings and surfaces to check out. This would be an excellent place to come if you do scentwork or parkour with your dogs. It's very well fenced unless you have a tiny dog, so completely safe. If you have herdy nerds who want to chase cars, there are vehicles that go by fast so that's something to be aware of, but there's plenty of space away from the view of the road. Rest of the area is flanked by the huge orchards that are serene and peaceful. Don't wait for more reviews! Go check this one out now before it becomes a busy top spot. 🥰

Made a last minute reservation, Bobbie was very quick to respond, kind and courteous. We found the house no problem, with a cute little sign indicating it was a sniff spot, that was very helpful! Lots of toys, water, and of course room to run and play! My dogs were very happy and all tired out when the hour was up. We will plan to go again soon! The area was clean, fully fenced, quiet and peaceful. The extra step of having treats and somewhere to sit was extremely thoughtful! Glad we tried this place.

This spot was perfect! My dog, who doesn’t like any other animals, loved his time here. So much to sniff, they had everything you could need: toys, water, poop bags, and even treats! We will definitely be back!

What a lovely spot! It’s quiet, Everything was ready for us when we arrived- There were lots of toys available and a fresh bowl of water… even some dog treats in the sunroom area! The host was kind enough to reach out and let us know the fence may not be secure enough for our small, 15lb pup, but when we got there it was more than adequate and we felt very secure letting her walk the perimeter and get all of her sniffs in! Thanks for a great visit! We’ll be back!!

This was such a cute spot! Clean and so much fun for our dogs. We would have loved to take advantage of the sunporch it was set up so nicely with snacks for us and our dogs but our puppy was a bit too excited running around lol.

A very good spot for my reactive dog. No sight or sound of the host's dogs who were inside the house. Securely fenced. Plenty of room to run. A variety of places and things to explore. Thoughtful amenities and extremely good communications from the host. Surprisingly dry ground despite recent heavy rain. We'll be back soon.

Fun, clean, safe and very generous!!! Quite literally a playground for dogs including a large wood pile, wading pool, bin of toys and lots of room to run/sniff. The host provided towels and drinks/snacks for both dogs and humans. The host was also very quick to respond to messages. Will be going back again.

That was easily one of our favorites! It was so wonderfully set up with so many things to do that my dog didn’t get bored once! I’d usually have to keep him from trying to chase the passing cars but he was so occupied that he didn’t even acknowledge them! This was also the first time he didn’t want to leave the Sniffspot when I told him to 😂 It’s safe to say we will be going back. Even I was having fun!

Beautiful spot. Well fenced. The wading pool was a huge YES on our first hot day this year (88 degrees!) Stopped here after a looong drive and the pups needed to move. Lots of good sniffs. Hosts were very accommodating.

We had so much fun! Scooby met a horse for the first time. Played/sniffed in the leaves. Checked out all of the smells, and just had a wonderful experience. There was a great hideout/covered area with chairs, perfect idea for Oregon. There had been lots of rain and the play yard didn’t have hardly any mud at all. The grass was wet but no muddy paws! That was much appreciated. If we travel through again, we will certainly come back. Both dogs were worn out in 40 minutes! Picture proof attached. On the human note, parking and the gate was SO easy. Well marked. Felt very welcoming. As soon as we pulled in, I knew it was going to be fun! The fencing and gates were well set up, no concerns about holes.

The new covered barn for members is a game changer my buddy loved all the new smells and played fetch … I loved being dry warm and covered with overhead lighting …. Although he still loved being outdoors so we had to leave comfort for the a romp in the outdoor spot it’s nice having an option

While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks. Contrary to a typical dog park, with Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Treat all park equipment with respect and care.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot agility park at the same time as me?

Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
