55This was our second visit to this paddock. (The first time was our first visit to any Sniffspot). Our dog loves it. We book it for an hour. It is big enough for her to run many times after her fave ball, and then also be able to do some training time, as well. The neighboring paddocks provide some great opportunities for training distractions, with the added bonus of fencing and a bit of distance to help with focus. It is quite a long drive from our home in Seattle, so it’s nice that there are (portable) restrooms available, in case they are ever needed.
The people we met were all nice to us. No one hassled us for occupying the paddock longer than the training patrons are permitted. We were careful not to enter until the hour we leased started, and left promptly when the hour was over.
It’s nice that there are bags and a trash bin available right on the fence, in case we ever run out. And it’s nice that this field/paddock is well-maintained by everyone who uses it. The field was clean, with nice grass, and without any unexpected messes left by others.
We brought our dog’s own water bottle, as we always do when going to off-leash parks. We didn’t ask if there were a water source to refill it from, but I expect we may ask that question when warmer weather appears.
We will be back, and will try to explore how to sign up and explore the add-on amenities. Looking forward to exploring the water access, training options and bigger field amenity in the future.
Thank you to our hosts for their hospitality.

55A little confusing to find but it is a big property! We added the river access and our pups loved that, then we walked to the field for the sniffspot and they had a blast running around and finding the horses! Courtney W.

55Love this place. Beautiful setting. I'm dying to know what everyone is doing there because it seems to be a variety of things (dog training, horses, travelers with camper trailers, etc).
Don't know but I love the fact that it is pretty, and always available to some degree!Norm S.

55Great big ol' field for frolicking! Use the map they have pictured on the profile, not the field apple maps takes you to. The picture shows you drive down the road a bit more, where you can park and where the gate is. It wasn't mowed when we were there so it was the perfect bounding and scent work field for us with no surrounding distractions. Garbage truck did go by in the distance on this day if you have a sound sensitive pup. Alisha B.

55Had an amazing time bringing Soba to Patrick's farm! First of all, the property itself is amazing. I don't even know how many acres it is, but he had multiple pastures that were multiple acres each. The pasture we played in was long and narrow, securely fenced on three sides and open on one side. I had no issues with Soba escaping. There is another open pasture that is fully fenced for dogs that may tend to run more. The farm has some free range chickens by the house, so make sure your dog is under control when not in the pasture. I am going to come back again and bring a couple more dogs!David A.

55"Really enjoyed Patrick’s farm, and my dogs LOVED the space. The dog run lot is on the lower portion of the property, so you don’t go up the hill to the main house entrance, but turn right on a little gravel road right before and stop at the first gate on the left, where they’ll let you in. They leave out a bucket of water, which is really thoughtful!
We also got to say hi to some super sweet cows, which I LOVED! Great location and great hosts."Kayla P.

55The horses at Drago's farm are 5 star amazing! I can't think of a better way to introduce a dog to horses. Both horses (or horse and pony) were calm and non-threatening and one was extremely friendly in a gentle way. This would not be a good place for any dogs who might be aggressive to or harass horses, as they are loose in the area. The owners put their dog away as I arrived and barking could be heard occasionally. Hosts were friendly and were in the area at times, so guests should notify hosts if their dogs are reactive to people. I would not recommend off leash activity here at this time- too many potential hazards. There was a pile of boards with nails sticking out of them along the driveway and areas of fencing down. But for poking around on leash, it was very enjoyable. There is a hillside to clammer up, pile of rocks to climb on, ducks in a pond to watch, pastures to wander through, and the setting is very peaceful and quiet. And awesome horses! Kate S.

55Our dog Mya had so much fun here! She wasn't so interested in her running after the ball as she usually would be but it was definitely great to see her explore and visit with the horses and pony! 55This is such a cute farm and Kaleigh is a perfect host...super attentive and very relaxed, I felt immediately comfortable and at ease. I messaged prior to let her know we'd like to play alone (Cooper's not always great with other dogs) and when we arrived Kaleigh was there to greet us and her dogs were inside the house as promised. She gave me a quick tour then I let Cooper off his leash. I could tell there were lots of dog smells because he was immediately all over the place sniffing an exploring. Honestly, I was a little embarrassed because he's normally very mellow and obedient but he was so excited here he was pretty much ignoring me completely. Kaleigh has a lot of experience with dogs and was completely unbothered and when Cooper started harassing her cat (which completely surprised me since we had a cat), she did not mind one bit and simply put the cat in the garage. After awhile Cooper settled down and we wandered about and splashed around in the creek a bit. The farm is very well maintained...the grass was mowed, all the farm animals are totally secure and everything is tidy. I came across no hazards whatsoever here. Kaleigh pointed out one low spot in the fencing but, even after I knew where it was, I could barely see it...plus I really can't imagine it would be possible for anyone to get through because it's completely blocked by several feet of very thick tall blackberries. However, the gate from the road does stay open so your dog would need to have good enough recall to avoid going in that direction. I was a little worried about it in the beginning when Cooper was spazzing out and not listening but it was actually never a problem for us and we had a really fun visit. Kaleigh had some family over and was outside the duration of our visit which turned out to be a really nice surprise...I had a great time chatting with her and Cooper just loved all the attention from the humans. Really appreciate Kaleigh's hospitality and kindness and looking forward to another visit. Thanks Kaleigh! ♥

55We loved the mini farm. There are 2 large pastures where the dogs can run around and small creek in the middle where they can jump to cool down. Kaleigh is a great host are her dog is very friendly and well behaved. My dogs had a great time playing with Kaleigh's dog and were very tired when we were ready to head home (note: you can let Kaleigh know if you don't want her dog to be out while you are there). The property is beautiful and well kept, and as a bonus, she has a small flower garden and sells nice bouquets. We will definitively go back.Janne A.

55Kayleigh and her dogs, Swish and Dudley, are fantastic hosts! We visited with a friend and both of our dogs. The dogs had a ton of room to play and a creek to explore. They did really well with the cows, goats, turkeys, and chickens even though our dogs have not been around other types of animals before. The fencing is ideal for this kind of first time interaction. Thanks, Kayleigh! Lissa K.

55This was our favorite Sniffspot yet! Lots of room for fetch and a tiny creek for splashing in. The owner left us out some chairs and fresh water for the pups, which was very kind of her, and closed the gate after we arrived so the dogs would be contained on the property. There are lots of farm animals, but they are securely fenced in. Our dogs were a bit concerned about the cows and were fascinated with the chickens and turkeys, but quickly settled down with some redirection. Overall a beautiful piece of property with lots of room to play - we only wish we could've stayed longer!Arwyn T.

55Both Kayleigh and her husband John with their two golden retrievers were so hospitable and welcoming throughout our stay. We appreciate this. My 10 mos old St Berdoodle also had a great time at the farm checking out the animals and poking around at creek. I recommend this great spot for pet owners hoping to socialize their dog with animal farms all within the city of Auburn. Will come again. Kate T.

55This is our 2nd time here. Kaleigh is super sweet and very responsive and answered all of my questions right away. This is a pretty cute little property and has a decent amount of space to play. If your dog likes fetch they will be in heaven here. There is a small creek that runs through the property which is really nice for drinking and rinsing dirty feet and the grass is in really great shape despite all the rain so, other than some patches near the creek, there was really no mud. We did close the gate after we drove through which is sufficient for my boy but please note pups should have decent recall here as the road does have some traffic and any dog could easily get through the fence. There are a few farm animals in a fenced area at the far end and it looks like there are a number of projects going on here and there...but the animals are all very dog savvy and we roamed all over and didn't come across any hazards. This visit there were some chickens in a coop so, even though they were all enclosed, they were very upset when my dog approached. Apparently they were new to the farm as of the night before so I assume in the future they'll be in a safer spot away from the Sniffspot area. Otherwise very uneventful, pleasant visit. Thanks Kaleigh!Susan D.

FAQ about our Auburn dog water parks
Are dog water parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. If you are worried about whether you can have an enjoyable water experience, just know that it is possible to have peace of mind when visiting dog waterparks by following basic safety guidelines. Some great ways to stay safe around water with your dog include learning canine CPR and keep an eye on your dog at all times to ensure they are not distressed. You can learn more about safety around water here.
How can I find the best dog water parks in Auburn?
There are 35 dog water parks in the Auburn area. The most popular dog water park is Run Wild Dog Sports & Training Center. You can browse all of our dog water parks here.
How do I know if a dog water park works for my dog?
Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog water parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog water parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to see what kind of water features are offered to make sure it works for your dog. If your dog is not a strong swimmer, then perhaps choose a dog water park with tamer water features rather than a river or beach, for instance. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking water park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot water park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Additionally, we recommend following our water safety guidelines.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot water park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
How much do Sniffspot dog water parks cost?
Dog water parks in the Auburn area range from $10.0 and $10.0. The least expensive dog water park is Run Wild Dog Sports & Training Center. The most expensive dog water park is Run Wild Dog Sports & Training Center. Each host sets their own price, so you can check the price on the specific Sniffspot dog park listing.
Can I have an event or party at a dog water park?
If you are planning an amazing dog water park party, each Sniffspot water park has their own rules regarding special events. Many water parks allow doggie birthday parties, training and other event types. Event organizers need to be responsible for their guests and event organizers should coordinate with the host regarding their fun party.
What are the coolest doggie water features available?
Sniffspot dog water parks can have a variety of features, everything from swimming pools to rivers to beaches to hoses and kiddie pools. If you are dreaming of a curtain of water, water tunnels, a ball pit pool, water slide ball pits, splash pools or other cool features, you can definitely find amazing features at Sniffspot dog water parks. Each water park is different, so check the details of the park to find the incredible dog water park of your dreams.
