First of all, it’s HUGE!!! This is three times the size of the other sniffspot we visited.
The garden is very well kept and the landscaping is gorgeous. Plenty of sitting space and shade for humans and doggos. The pool was immaculately clean and nice and cool during this oppressive heat wave. While my puppy is still learning how to swim, she loved sitting on my lap on the first step of the pool. One thing to note is that it does get deep, I’m not sure how many feet but something to be aware of if you have kids or your dog isn’t the strongest swimmer.
Michela’s mother, Lauren, let us in and showed us around and made sure we had everything we need. She even set out a fresh bowl of cool water for Ori.
They also provide access to one of their bathrooms(!!!) and the guest room it was attached to was accessible from the backyard so I didn’t have to walk through their home and invade their privacy or feel like I was intruding.
I would describe the yard as having two areas. An artificial turf area and a concrete pool area. This made it possible for my dog to have epic zoomies and then come and cool off in the pool.
Another thing to mention is that the yard was very clean and safe. Nothing lying around like tools, children’s toys, etc. that a dog might accidentally hurt themselves on.
Michela responded to all of my messages almost immediately and was very kind and accommodating the entire time. We got there a bit late and she offered to let us stay an extra 15 minutes to make up the time.

55This was our first time and we loved that our dog could play without seeing other dogs walking by because the backyard is fully enclosed by cinder block. There was a shaded area for us to sit which was great because it was really hot. The only thing I would suggest is bring your own water bowl (which we did), as the water bowl provided had some rust in it. Was a great size yard with lots of grass and we had a good time. 55Nice and clean place. My pups were busy playing, exploring and sniffing around. Occasionally we could hear people or dogs barking near by, but I was pleased to see that for the most part my dogs were able to ignore that.

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks.
