There is a large tamarisk tree for shade with a picnic table beneath. Fences were high and totally secure. My girl enjoyed running the perimeter and found plenty to sustain her interest for the full two hours we stayed. She only sat down in the last 5 minutes! The area is lovely high desert, with a tall hill covered with pinyon/juniper woodland adjacent. The access road is unpaved for the last mile, but fully accessible in a Prius.
