55There was lots of space for my dogs to explore and also some shaded spots for them to take a break and catch their breathe. We were warned about foxtails in some parts so we were just careful. Although, my dogs don’t care for toys there are plenty of toys and their is water for them. My German shepherd was so pooped from running. He hadn’t run without a leash since months ago since I adopted from the shelter. Also, I don’t have a yard. I was so happy for him! He really needs the exercise since he is a little on the chunky side so the running will help. We will be back. Thank you! Zoya B.

55Such a spacious place to tire out your dog. My dog was really nervous but he enjoyed it so much. Plus, Vincent was a great host! I will definitely recommend Gladis G.

55We took our two dogs to Daisy Park, and they had an absolute blast! Our slow-moving deaf Pitbull enjoyed roaming around and exploring all the new scents. Our energetic Boxer was thrilled to find random toys scattered around, bouncing between us and running with joy. The park provided a perfect balance for both our dogs to enjoy.
The only thing to note is that there were some dried weeds around, so long-haired breeds might need extra caution. However, both of our dogs came back with clean paws and fur despite adventuring everywhere. Highly recommend for anyone looking to give their pets a fun and safe outdoor experience!Melissa K.

55We loved the spot. It’s great exercising place if you have a big small or any size dog. Entrance it’s right away of the street so just be concerned cars may be behind you when trying to enter. Other than that everything was great, I had a problem trying to get out I was driving uphill on the dirt and started to dig xD but anyways sorry bout that. Pepper loved here, and we ll come back. 👀😶🌫️🐶🐶🐶🐶🌳🌳🌳Carlos S.

55Nice big open space in the city. Poop bags and lots of tennis balls on site. There's a bowl and hose for fresh water but our dogs didn't like the bowl for some reason, thankfully we had a backup in the car. The inner fencing to separate the hosts personal space had a couple vulnerable spots but the property fence to the outside was very secure. Bring a wide brim hat and check your pups for foxtails afterwards and you'll have a good time. Fernando R.

55This spot was awesome! They had toys, water available for the dog, waste bags, and a trash can. The grass was a bit dried out, but it is summer in San Diego, so that is to be expected! Our dog had a great time! He didn’t know what to do with all the space. Molly S.

55Nice spot. Some shady areas, a nice hill. Fence line is good. The dead grass/burrs were a little too rough on our pups paws - but I imagine that’s just a dead of summer problem. Great spot overall. Communication was great. David G.

55Great big yard for running and practicing recall. Balls are provided. No special features just a big yard and hill to run and play. Oh and as a side note there are lots of burrs so check paws after leaving. Molly S.

55This IS a GREAT spot!!! There is lots of space for our dog to run and be free. There was also lots of shady spots throughout the property. There’s a nice shady spot as soon as you come through the gate where we could sit and relax in between our dog running around and playing. There’s a huge bucket of balls up in that spot that they provide. There’s also Water access as well as garbage and recycle. Overall, it was an awesome experience and very well secured around the fence. Super easy to get to Barb G.

FAQ about our Chula Vista dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Chula Vista area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 137 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 14 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
