Close in town, but yet country setting on dead end road, 15 acres total, dog park is at front entrance on left. We started a smaller one several years ago, but then decided to wait and build a 6ft fence dog park in front and just finished it Sept 21, 2024! Still adding amenities! Will be open 24 hours after lighting is installed, hopefully soon! I only have 1 neighbor w 2 dogs about 1 acre away which they are not out for long, tjere is also a small cabinet shop up front which can be loud sometimes or you may see a person or two. There is a train track but no horn, 2 acre park is at front of my 15 acres. I am here 98 percent of the time, I have a horse, 2 donkeys, 3 cats and 2 dogs. My dogs are kept in the house while park is in use, and you may hear them barking, doing their job. Cats are free roaming but usually stay behind house in barn area or on my back porch. We welcome suggestions as well, as everyone may want different things. Occasionally you will see Deer, Owls, Hawks, Buzzards and my horses and donkeys can sometimes be seen but are several acres away. We have several dumpsters that get rented out and you may see them go up and down the driveway when rented. There are some potholes because of this so be careful when coming in. There may also be fire ant hills when it rains along with a large puddle in one corner if it rains alot. I think that covers it!

Buxley's Backyard Bark Club

Nice size yard with lots of room to run, throw a ball or frisbee, army crawl in the grass, or just stretch out and catch some rays. My four rescue dogs love their backyard! You might see one of them in the photos. The photos were taken early last spring. Grass is much more green and plush now. Water hose in the back to provide fresh water for the pups. If people prefer, I can provide some large metal bowls to leave out for guests. We have one big shepherd dog to the west of us who is super sweet and two elder westies in the back of me. I’ll be happy to answer any questions!

Professional trainers may not use the Bedford dog park to conduct business. Dogs showing aggression toward people or other animals must be removed immediately. No animals other than dogs are allowed in the off-leash area. If a dog bite to a human or other animal should occur, it must be reported to the Bedford Animal Control at 817-952-2191. If after normal business hours contact the Bedford Police Department Dispatch at 817-952-2127. Owners release and discharge the City of Bedford from liability for any injury or damage caused to or by pets during any time while using the park. Hank had the world’s best doggy time and we could not get him out of water. Also the property is so serene and lush, not to mention surprisingly cool under all the pecan trees. Can’t wait to return!!

i wanted to visit this sniffspot since pool stairs intimidate my dog, but i could tell he was interested in the water. the “beach entry” water was perfect for him. the host left helpful items on a table which made things easy. my dog ran around so much that he fell asleep drying himself off after a shower (pictured)

It’s the perfect little piece of puppers paradise! Pond was clean, grass is intentionally cut! Dogs had a great time!It’s a beautiful piece of property! I think we found our new spot!

It was a great experience! The dogs had so much space to run. They loved the pond! Not only was there there water and treats for the dogs, but there was also bug spray for the humans. We all loved it and hope to return!

This spot was an absolute blast for my three. So much room to run and splash in the water. The host had poop bags for us and water for the pups! And a towel and treats. We will definitely be back again. My three did not want to leave!

My dog loved it here! So much room to explore and plenty of shade. My girl spent most of the time sniffing every square inch, but if your dog likes zoomies or swimming more this place is great for that too. The owners left everything we could need out for us, like water, a towel, bug spray, and even treats and poop bags. It was secluded, we could only faintly hear voices from the home(s), and we heard a cow and a horse, but did not see them. We came as a special treat for my dog’s birthday but we’ll be back! Also, my dog is only covered in burrs because she decided to roll in the grass 😂

What a beautiful property! We and our dog had so much fun. We were able to work on retriever training with our lab, Remi, and she had an absolute blast! She was a little bummed we wouldn’t let her chase the geese haha. Leslie was very hospitable and responsive, and she even had a table with things for dogs and their owners! She also helped when my husband led us the wrong way to park hahah. We’ll definitely be back!
