55My dogs had a great time roaming, ymsniffing, running, and exploring this beautiful and scenic property! My two pupsb loved bouncing/jumping through the tall grass and enjoyed rolling around in the hay in the fields! We didn't have any issues with the fencing; as noted in the description, there are sizable and noticeable holes for fencing posts. My dogs were very curious of the chickens and the enclosed, cute goats. Glad I write my hiking boots? David is a very nice and welcoming host!Rona A.

55A lovely spot! Just some things to be aware of: As they mentioned in the post, the area that is fully fenced is around 2 acres (it seems smaller than that to me, but I could be wrong). 3 of the sides seem quite secure, but one side is just a few horizontal strings of barbed wire with some brambles around it, so if you have a dog that is quite small or can jump high and is determined to get out, it could be possible. But it was enough for my medium-sized dog. The fully fenced area is a meadow, with grass about calf to knee height. The perimeter was mowed, so there was space where it was easier to walk and throw a ball.
The area that is not fully fenced, is mostly fenced, and it includes another large meadow area and a forested area; both are lovely. This area leads back to their home and driveway, which is the part that is not fenced or gated. The driveway is very long though, so if your dog mostly sticks close to you, this is fine.
One note for those with dog-reactive dogs: they forgot to put their dog inside before I arrived, so as I drove up the driveway, their dog came up to my car and barked, which is incredibly difficult for my dog. They came out immediately and put their dog inside and it was clear that their intention is to have their dog inside when sniff spot visitors come and it was just a mistake. But since my dog is aggressive with other dogs, and since the larger area is where their home is, I wouldn't let my dog out in the larger area unless I knew for absolutely certain that their dog was inside and that the owners know that I'm there. Certainly if their dog is outside when you arrive, it will be sure to alert you to its presence, which is very considerate of it :)Nichelle & Mark M.

55What a great spot! It was very calm and my dog had a blast leaping through the tall grass. We will definitely be back on some cooler days! It was pretty toasty out there in the field and left early as my pup was getting overheated.Brittany S.

55What a beautiful field and secluded trail area to romp in! Our dogs LOST THEIR MINDS at the sight of goats so we kept away from their areas but there was plenty of space to play in, and a good deal of amenities such as toys, treats, water provided, etc. It seems the fencing is moving along quickly too, as there were no places that looked iffy to me, aside from the unfenced/partially fenced side by the house. Good recall is essential for that portion but there are designated trails mowed down to help keep dogs in line. :) Lea H.

55Our two pups really enjoyed this sniff spot! While livestock is viewable & located directly next to the spot upon entrance, our pups had zero issues with reactivity. The mass majority of the spot is away from the livestock & there is ample space to explore and run. We look forward to our next trip! Kansas S.

55Beautiful spot, we loved it, our dogs loved it. We almost parked and played in the wrong area so be sure go all the way to the end of the road. That’s where the sniff spot is. I’ll be back.Gail H.

55A very large area to explore with your pup. Actually there are two large areas to explore. We stayed in the area close to the house. Next time we will adventure to the next one. Very fun and the hosts were very kind and helpful. Sylvia L.

55Great spot! Host was present and friendly for first time visitor, great communication. There is work being done at the property (driveway), so be aware of that and your surroundings. There are goats behind a fence by the designated parking spot, be aware and respectful of that. Fencing has some gaps large enough for a small dog to slip through. Nova had a great time. Julie M.

55Great spot to practice recall & fetch with the pup, who is working on both. Loved having the 2 acres fully fenced so he can practice off-leash recall (with distractions-goats!) and still be safe. He loved it. Kelly W.

55Perfect for all packs! New and experienced, small or large, all packs can have safe fun here! Load out straight from your vehicle with well-behaved dogs. Fenced-in area is wide and open. Unfenced area is as well but has trails in the back with gorgeous shade and flora. Unfenced area does not share fence with goats, so it’s easy to keep reactive dogs distanced from them. Unfenced area has plenty of room to keep well-trained dogs distanced from goats’ pin. We came during dry season, but it did not seem like it would be muddy during wet season. Driveway is under construction for improvements but perfectly usable. New fave spot! We will definitely be back!Ashtyn B.

55Good secure pasture under the power lines. I brought toys. My dogs were interested in the goats but not overly so and we used them as a distraction to practice recall. We explored the other pasture a little too- on leash for one of my dogs. The shady thicket was nice for the dogs to explore. Appreciated clean bucket of water- carried it into the pen. Marianne A.

55It was a bit hard to find, the long gravel road in the description has a fork in it so we went the wrong way at first awkwardly pulling into someone else’s driveway. Other than that, once we found it, it was great! Super understanding of us being late and even offered us to stay 15 minutes later so we could still enjoy the full hour. Really lovely!Haylee H.

FAQ about our Camas dog agility parks
Are dog agility parks safe?
While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks. Contrary to a typical dog park, with Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect safe place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. As always, ensuring you use park dog agility equipment safely is also key to an enjoyable experience.
How can I find dog agility parks in Camas?
There are 19 dog agility parks in the Camas area. The most popular dog agility park is Two Sisters Dog Park. You can browse all of our dog agility parks here.
How do I know if a dog agility park works for my dog?
Owners commonly wonder about whether a park works for their dog. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a fenced dog agility park that works for your dog. You can also filter on size to find a larger park or neighborhood parks. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog agility parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog agility parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can read the description of the spot to see the details of the set up, such as whether there is commercial grade park equipment, and other amenities, such as park benches. Browse photos to get a sense for park design. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking agility park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot agility park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Treat all park equipment with respect and care.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot agility park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
