She found her new favorite toy at this Sniffspot but it’s no longer sold so we have to return so she can play with it 😝 there was some dog food left out that we had to keep her from eating and some other misc trash but other than that, nice spot! The yard was fully fenced and well-maintained! Included wonderful woody/scrubby area which our pup (Violet) loved sniffing around in. Calm neighborhood. 55Lovely opportunity! I brought our new-to-us 16 month German Shepherd dog to be able to run free for the first time since we got her 6 weeks ago. Host had great communication throughout. They had the cutest tray of toys, balls, bubbles, hand sanitizer, etc. Also had a bowl of water for our pup (it was a hot day!). Lola had an incredible time being able to run and play football with my 8 year old son. She also enjoyed basking the the shade when she was tired. Easy parking. Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
