55The spot was smaller than expected based on pictures, I know the listing says it’s only 0.06 acres, but I’m bad at visualizing acreage, so I rely on pictures, & it was just a little smaller than I thought it’d be but that’s on me for not knowing how big 0.06 acres is😂 Also, the fence line on the left hand side of the yard when you first walk in was pretty cluttered with random stuff. My friend’s American Staffordshire terrier got his head stuck in one of the plant pots & while I admit it was pretty funny, it just didn’t need to be out there. 55Good wide-open area to throw a ball (or stick!) around. There’s a nice little shaded area to sit and a water bowl for your dog. 55This was honestly such a blessing, I may or may not have even cried a little. Having one dog extremely reactive AND living in a apartment is extremely challenging. He doesn’t get outside much except to go to the bathroom. And my other has such high energy that he’s hard to tire out. This yard was amazing. It was way bigger than expected, which is great for throwing a ball around! The fence was in excellent condition and plenty of grass/dirt space versus rocks. There was water available and they even left out plenty of toys! There’s also plenty of chairs and seating to relax. We will absolutely be back and will be making this a regular visit. 55Everything was great except I have 3 year old, 80lb, female American akita so she’s a pretty big dog, & she was able to jump up on the top of the fence (2nd picture) that gave access to the neighbor’s yards😅 thankfully, I know if she escapes from somewhere, to start running in the opposite direction & she’ll start chasing me, so I was able to get her back without her actually jumping down into the neighbor’s yards, but if you have a large & athletic breed, definitely keep this in mind. What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot fully fenced dog park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not permit use by pregnant dogs and we do not permit dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules, such as staying within the designated off-leash areas. Each park location also has their own set of rules that guests need to follow, such as limiting excessive barking.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot fully fenced dog park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
