It's rare to find a spot like this so close to the city! There's lots of room here for activity—whether your fur-babies like to roam and sniff all the smells, find and chew on endless sticks, play long distance fetch (with our handy chuck-it), or just get some serious exercise running at full speed up and down the hill. We have two large breed dogs ourselves (an Australian Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees) and this yard is their happy place! Our Pyr is a rescue who can't be off leash or go to dog parks, so our property is the only space where he's free to be himself. And when we discovered Sniffspot, we wanted to offer the same opportunity for other doggos like him. No pup should be kept from the joys of life because of what they've been through! Our home is super easy to find/access and we have plenty of private (off-street) parking available, making it an ideal space to meet up for playdates. I don’t have any toys right now, but I may add some in the future. Please be mindful of any kudzu vines or exposed tree roots. Depending on when you visit, please be mindful that there might be a few muddy spots so wear appropriate shoes. It’s very shady with all the trees.  Please no smoking, alcohol or glass bottles. The neighborhood is super calm and quiet, and often the only sounds are birdsong! At the end of my block, there is a walking trail (South river trail). Very quiet also. *note* please throw poop bags into the small yellow plastic bin against the house.

Great shady open space. Lots of fun critters to see and observe (birds, squirrels, etc). Table and chairs to bring food or work to. Hammock to enjoy while dog runs around. Access to hose for water playing/drinking. You can hear our neighbor dogs however both the neighbors and myself have a fence, so you don’t have to worry about interactions.
