Joseph was a wonderful host and we’ll visit again soon! PS: it’s summer in GA, remember the bug spray! 55Great find! Perfect Sniffspot for dogs that love to play in the water! We weren’t sure if we’d take our dogs off of their leashes but once we got to the stream, they were so obsessed with running and splashing in the water that we weren’t worried. They played in the same spot for a whole hour! The host was very helpful and answered all of my questions before we arrived. The Sniffspot is marked with a sign (see pictures) and the trail to the stream is marked with little red arrow signs. The spot is secluded and private which was perfect for our fearful dog. I have two senior dogs and a young energizer bunny and they all have gotten so much happier and more relaxed since we started coming here. For the senior dogs, it’s like physical therapy! Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Are dog parks safe?
