Host is so nice! He gave us the option of staying on his property or there is a cool lookout point/beach access to the lake. We decided to take Nikita on the long lead to check out the lake. It was beautiful and we enjoyed the mile walk down the service road.

This place was amazing! What a serene and beautiful part of the woods. We didn’t spend too much time on the actual property, although our dog loved running around down to the creek and back. We took Macken’s directions along the secluded lakefront trail to the beach which was about a mile from the property and spent most of our time there. We had the whole side of the lake to ourselves. We could hear a few people and their dogs across the lake at the day beach, but it wasn’t an issue for us and our dog. She had so much fun, and so did we. We also met Macken and talked for a bit towards the end, he was very kind and was even able to get our dog to show off a few tricks! We will definitely be booking again.

Perfect place to take a snowy walk. We didn't make it down to the lake because our small dog was too short to get far in the snow, but we will be back with his backpack! Incredibly gracious host, nothing but good things to say 💖

So great! Lots of trails to explore and entry points to the river and creeks. Our dog had loads of fun zooming around. We were given a map and that was very helpful for navigating the bridges and trails.

Spring Acres never fails to delight us. We come here often and we both enjoy the woodland trails and we get a great workout on the hilly terrain. My dog loves to take a few dunks in the creek in this warm weather too. He used to react to the animals in the paddock, but he’s gotten so used to them he barely notices them anymore. Hiking / good walking shoes are adequate right now (rather than muck boots) as there is only one trail that is still muddy - it’s a short one and we simply avoided it. I’d recommend some bug repellent though as there are some areas where mosquitoes are making an appearance. Overall, a highly recommended Sniffspot!

This is a beautiful Sniffspot with lots of fun trails and water for the dogs to play in. John met me when I arrived and was super helpful and kind showing me around and even gave me a custom map. The dogs and I both had lots of fun and will be back!

Wow 🤩 This little slice of Heaven is by far the best Sniffspot Wallace and I have been to! John and Stephanie were the best hosts. The property is amazing and they have really taken the time to upkeep the trails. It felt like our own private State Park. Wallace had such a great time running along the trails and playing in the creek. We will definitely be back!

I absolutely love love this place. I've been to several SniffSpots but this one is by far my favorite. The host is super nice. The trails and the cool bridges, the signs that they have made naming each trail. The creek is amazing. Just everything about it is wonderful.

Paradise for us and the pups! John met us when we arrived and kindly gave us a tour of the huge property and a map to stay oriented. The dogs had an amazing time exploring the trails and playing in the creek and fields. We all left a bit muddy from exploring the back trails so I’d recommend wearing the right shoes and bringing a towel — though there is plenty of non-muddy fun if that’s not your thing. We will definitely be back!

so much fun!! we had the best time! when you first get there the host will walk you & the pups (on leash) to the section that is the sniff spot. there’s a map, hooks to hang your bags & leashes, trash bins for poop, etc. the trails can be kinda steep towards the top but there’s literally a bench around every corner so you can take a break any time you need to. we stopped at every bench we saw on the way back down so the dogs could investigate thoroughly and we enjoyed a great & unique view at each one. we did the loop two and a half times and took breaks in the river and my dogs are pooped. they enjoyed sniffing all the best pee spots and zooming across the bridges. great area for behavior training, building confidence, doing zooms, backpacking practice, etc. Even our dog that’s scared of the water was willing to check it out here! if you have T Mobile, be sure to note how you got to the site as service is spotty!

I love John’s Sniffspot and I always try to go back whenever I can. The dogs love exploring the trails and running around. The Sniffspot is beautiful and you can notice John takes very good care of his place. This is one of the best Sniffspots in WA and I’m sure any dog will love it!

This takes Sniffspot to a while new level! Incredible, my friend visiting from CA and I drove from Seattle to check this place out. Beautiful, Stephanie was incredibly welcoming, provided a map, and have us tips to the trails. Porta potties are available and super clean, next to a little puppy location with another map posted. The host let my friend take photos with the highland cow. Creek was a great way to cool down. My friend made the comment that she'd love to enjoy the space even without a dog!

Absolutely wonderful!!! John’s welcome is always so warm and genuine. My golden retriever has the time of her life sniffing, exploring and running through the paths, creeks, and forest. This spot is AMAZING for dogs & humans!! We had the best time and already can’t wait to come back! I would recommend wearing some waterproof boots to really make the most of exploring the trails and creek.
