55Host is so nice! He gave us the option of staying on his property or there is a cool lookout point/beach access to the lake. We decided to take Nikita on the long lead to check out the lake. It was beautiful and we enjoyed the mile walk down the service road. Marie U.

55This place was amazing! What a serene and beautiful part of the woods. We didn’t spend too much time on the actual property, although our dog loved running around down to the creek and back. We took Macken’s directions along the secluded lakefront trail to the beach which was about a mile from the property and spent most of our time there. We had the whole side of the lake to ourselves. We could hear a few people and their dogs across the lake at the day beach, but it wasn’t an issue for us and our dog. She had so much fun, and so did we. We also met Macken and talked for a bit towards the end, he was very kind and was even able to get our dog to show off a few tricks! We will definitely be booking again. Michelle H.

55Our dog Teddy loved it and had so much fun! So many places to sniff and adventure off to. The sites and creeks were beautiful and a fun bonus for Teddy to play in. He met the goat dolly and many other animals. The owner John was very nice, introduced himself right away and gave us a tour. So much to do and see. Can’t wait to go back again!!Cicely W.

55I go to a LOT of Sniffspots from Snohomish to Gig Harbor, and I can say Spring Acres is by far our favorite spot! It's always a calming experience for me, and the pups have a blast, every. single. visit. It will never get old! Thank you, John and Stephanie!Aubbie B.

55We always have such a great time at Spring Acres. It’s the perfect place for a reactive dog - even though it’s not fully fenced the remoteness of the property as well as the natural terrain bordering the property (steep hills and underbrush) are enough to make me feel safe with my reactive dog. We’ve been using this Sniffspot for over 3 years and I have never seen another dog or person on or around the property. The only exception is the hosts are sometimes working in their barn. However, it is across a large field and is far enough away that my dog doesn’t even notice them. Even though it’s a 45 minute drive for us to get to Spring Acres it is always well worth the trip. Highly recommended Sniffspot!Bonnie B.

55So our first visit was a little last minute and also at an awkward timing for the host but after we got settled this spot was spectacular. John showed us around as best as he could considering Birdie's reactivity, and was super accomodating letting us know that after the first visit we can park in a different spot and avoid human encounters. So looking forward to that for next time. It is a drive for us but absolutely worth it! The forest is pristine and filled with winding trails. No fence but the natural barriers are robust and my dog respected them. There are so many beautiful spots to sit and walk and the Care and craftsmanship on this property us evident. Variety of terrain was great and interesting for Bird, and for me. Quiet, beautiful, safe. Couldn't ask for more.Franki T.

55This place is amazing! It's full of trails and bridges and running creeks; it feels like you're out hiking with everything to yourself. This is perfect for my dogs that don't do well on busy trails or with traditional dogparks. The hosts are super kind, and the property is so well maintained and beautiful. Didn't get any pictures (this time) because we we're too busy enjoying the trails. We'll be going back soon. Teri S.

55This site is amazing! To watch our reactive dog be able to run and romp and sniff and swim in the most beautiful setting filled us with joy. This is a gift to humans and especially for dogs who have to always be on leash. Map is perfect and the owner so nice. We’ll visit often. Yvonne K.

55This spot feels like a magical fairy forest! Really well cared for with fun trails and the babbling creek was a great bonus. It was our first visit, so the meet and greet with the farm animals (especially the turkey) was a bit startling for our dog. Next time we come I believe we don’t need to enter via the farm pasture. Really great spot!Daniele M.

FAQ about our Easton dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Easton area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 76 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our 11 off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
