The property is at the end of a 0.8 mile gravel driveway. There are paths around the property in the woods and a field for ball chasing. It’s very far from a main road and safe for running off leash.

Welcome to Elysium Farms! We are located in scenic Scottsville, VA down a private gravel road. We have access to a walking trail, large pasture, woods, and a creek! We have fenced-in farm animals your dogs can view. We will provide camping chairs, bottled water, water for your dog, a kiddie swimming pool and water for your dog to drink. We do have 3 dogs of our own, but they are fenced in with our underground fencing and with notice, we will be happy to lock them inside the house for your peace of mind and comfort! This is all on private, family land with plenty of roaming land!

Half acre partially fenced field welcoming all kinds of pups to work, train or play! Agility course, open field, tie out run always available. Other working/sport equipment available by request, just let us know what your pup is into and we'll let you know what else we have to offer. We are happy to say this is a NO judgement zone. Aggressive/reactive or crazy high energy dog you don't take places as often as you'd like because of the response you get from people, bring them here! We get it (really..we do) and will be sure to give you and your pup the space you need with no added side eye ;) Need help applying training for those "problems"? Ask us about that, too! Working/sport dog that needs somewhere to train where handler doesn't have to be on guard or worry about misinterpretation, bring them here! Our world revolves around working dogs and training... we get it. We respect what you're doing and the space and understanding you need to get it done. We also love to train and meet new dog people and would love to meet and join you if we're home, but only at your request. Just a good ol' pet dog that wants to have some fun? Bring them here! We have all the things for a perfect play date for you and your pup to just relax and enjoy! There will be a few toys, mainly balls, available but we have more to offer at your request! This is the site of a forming intentional community. We are making it livable one step at a time. We bought the land cleared and in the meantime, use our 200+ acres to host hip camp, make bike trails and kayak out in areas. Attractions: Enter into one of the main parking areas by the house or keep driving! 1/2 mile down the road is another parking area. Keep going on that road and you’ll see a barn. Then, if you eventually curve to the right as you go down hill you might be able to figure out how to get to the big stream. The stream is sandy creek and that leads to the Banister river, which leads to the Dan. In about the middle of that main stretch, there is a road to the left that will bring you to a pond. I take my foxhound dog here while we hike the trails and work on the land. I found her on the side of the highway and found the owner but he didn’t want her back. I was going through a hard time. I did not intend on getting a dog, let alone a former hunting dog with such active needs! She had a lot of issues to figure out. We are both independent creatures which in the beginning was a source of trouble but now is a source of understanding. This land has been a blessing in us finding our balance. I can’t take her most places and let her off leash because her breed habit is to wander. She needs exercise. She has a need to run. She is so happy when we come here. She knows it means freedom. If it wasn’t for places like this, I would have a very frustrated pup! This place has helped us love each other. I hope you can experience the same!

It's unfenced, it's wooded, it's.. got a lot of gnats and mosquitos, but we're working on that. It's a 5.6 acre plot in total, but the back yard is VERY rocky. My wife and I like to keep the grass from getting much higher than 6".

Boonsboro area, I have a large fence where a dog can stay and play outside, the owner’s dog needs to bring their treats for his dog . I provide them water and some toys. The days where the fence is open is Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm in winter, and Summer from 8:00 am to 7::00 pm. Saturday it is open from 9 to 1:00 pm The dog needs to be vaccinated and healthy. I require a copy also of that. I have a German Shepard dog 65 pounds and sometimes they can play together if the get alone and if the guest wanted. Sometimes could be another dogs to play with. The guest dog needs to be trained. The human guest will have chairs and water and some warn blankets for winter. Owner needs to pick up the waist of their dogs and throwing in the trash cans that I provide. Water is available for dogs.

Our 2 acre property is available for you and your dog to explore! There is a short trail from the back yard that leads to a creek at the back of the property that you are welcome to enjoy with your dog! We often go back there and let our dogs roam around.
