Welcome to 50 acres of puppy heaven! Located off Crittenden Road in Suffolk, Virginia. Please take dirt lane, there is no house. Please do not disturb neighbors. Drive or Walk through the gate and the whole area is yours! There are walking trails in the woods, a pond to find and a river to explore. The open field is wonderful for training and or play. Your dog will love exploring this wonderful property. ***This is the country. The land is wonderful to explore but it is vacant and undeveloped. You will encounter nature, really in the spring and summer. There are ticks, snakes, uneven ground, rabbits, wet spots, etc. Please only book if you are used to the outdoors and being adventurous!*** Update from my guests comments: Wear bug spray when it’s warm, check for ticks after a visit, boots are recommended after rainy days, dogs may get muddy bring towels and look for the new mailbox to identify the dirt lane off the road. All pups are required to be on a leash while at Pups and Pints, unless in the off-leash dog park. Collars on Pups in the off-leash park must display name and contact info. No shock or e-collars are permitted at the park. Retractable leashes are not permitted at the park. While we do recommend that every pup is fully vaccinated, we do not enforce it in our main on-leash area. Pups are also not required to be fixed; only if you want them to play in our off-leash park. This place is dog heaven! It is the perfect spot to let your dog(s) run around and have the space to be a dog! I chose the “extra” private tour guide option and I’m so glad I did! Katie was extremely friendly and generously walked me and my pups around the area to show us the boundaries and the neat little special spots their land has. I immediately felt comfortable and relieved to have found an area where my dogs can safely and freely run around. A fairly large and hard to miss creek borders around the whole property making it seem next to impossible to get lost or to meander into someone else’s land (which were my two biggest concerns). If you are thinking about going to this location do it! You and your pups will not regret it!

We love this place! This go around we cut straight down to the creek and followed it all the way around the property. My dogs loved getting to smell all the scents near the creek and had a blast getting to track down those scents and run wild. If your dogs love to be dogs and it warms your heart to watch this is the place to go!!

One of the great things about this place is that there is so much to explore in the trees that even on windy days you can enjoy yourself! The trees do a great job at breaking the wind so even if it’s a bit chilly out you and your dogs can have a great time without feeling too much bite from the wind!

Katie's land is beautiful the dogs and kiddo enjoyed it very much, the trails are well kept. This was the BEST place to take my two dogs! They don’t love other dogs, so it was such a wonderful gift to be able to let them run wild & free in a totally private setting! Came here on New Year’s Day and We had SO MUCH fun here! I recommend two hours minimum because once you get out there, you’re gonna have such a GREAT time, that you’re not going to want to leave so soon 🤩 I have two labs and the two year-old was in heaven chasing after the balls with the throwing stick they provided! Such an amazing Sniffspot if your pup needs space to just “ be a dog!” I love that it’s not just flat ground, and if you are a runner who would like something other than concrete/ asphalt to run on with your pups, this place is great for that too! We all had a great time! It is not fenced, and the space would be a bit difficult to navigate with a long line or flexi lead.

If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?

We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.

Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?

No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
