The Happy Canines in West Covina

Fully fenced yard with mulch footing and plenty of shade throughout the day. Water bowls and poop bags are provided. The space includes a fun dog obstacle course, a real fire hydrant, and a ball pit available on some days. Guests are welcome to relax on benches or outdoor seating. This yard is also used for our small dog daycare and boarding guests, so it’s designed with dogs in mind and sterilized between each visit.

You’ll find pet-friendly turf, a fun mini-golf area, a spacious doggy house, and a secure enclosed area if your pup needs a little time alone. There’s doggy furniture, toys, and outdoor seating for the humans to relax while the pups play. We’ve also strung warm lights across the entire backyard, making it a magical spot for evening visits. Plus, we provide treats and essentials to make your dog’s visit extra special! Please Note: • Our doggy fountain is currently leaking and not holding much water so it won’t be full during your visit till it’s repaired. We have several water bowls set up to make up for it. • You may hear a baby during your visit — our home is shared with a little one, so guests must be comfortable with the occasional baby sounds. • To keep things enjoyable and safe for everyone, we’re limiting the number of people per booking to 4. If you’d like to join your pup in the water, you’re welcome to add the human swimming option under “Extras.” We also kindly ask that you clean up after yourself and your pup. Our pools, large and small can be booked as extras at the time of your reservation. Children’s toys happily provided upon request. Homemade human and doggie treats are available most of the time. 🙂 🐾🐾 We do have nighttime lighting and will open a late evening reservation for you upon request. Outward Hound Level One available as an experience during your stay and can be booked as an extra. Doggie Painting (let your pup’s inner Picasso come out!) is also available and can be booked as an extra. Birthday props available to borrow and listed under “extras”.

Whittier Dog Park

Whittier Dog Park is located at 12206 Philadelphia St in Whittier, California. The park is fully fenced and open daily from sunrise to sunset. Dogs must be accompanied by persons 18 or older, and children under 6 are not allowed in the off-leash area. Only 3 dogs are allowed per adult, and female dogs in heat are not permitted. Owners must clean up after their dogs, and no food (for people or canines) or toys (except toss toys) are allowed in the off-leash area. Aggressive dogs are not allowed, and owners are responsible for any injuries caused by their pets.
