Fall 2024 Updates: With the rainy weather mushrooms may be present, we do our best to dispose of them but if you see them don't let your dog eat them as they can cause GI upset or be harmful. It's also acorn drop season and our large oak tree is dropping a lot of them. Acorns are not safe for dogs to eat. If your dog likes to eat stuff our yard might not be the best fit during this season. We want our pup friends to have a safe fall. If you post a photo with your first or next review we'll give you a free visit promo code! (one time only) Hi! I'm Alyssa, a rescue dog owner with a ~1/3 acre yard perfect for your dog to enjoy! We have a mix of gardens, grass, mulch, and leaf areas great for sniffing and playing fetch and a bin full of fun toys and treats. We have a special basket of small dog toys upon request. We provide cold water for humans, bug spray, and hand sanitizer. We spray our yard every 5 weeks with a natural oil mix to help reduce mosquitos, fleas, and ticks. Reactive dog owners should note that our neighbors on both sides have dogs that may or may not be outside during your visit. They are all friendly but will probably bark. (No dogs live in the yard with the chain link but there are visible dogs two yards over) We provide a bucket of extra treats to help with training and distraction. Our girl loves a "sniffari" where you hide treats around the yard to sniff out. ⭐️ Important notes ⭐️ 🐶 All dogs must be FULLY vaccinated (Rabies, Parvo, Bordetella, DHPP) Please do not book unless you are sure your dog has all their shots. Puppies less than 4 months old that are still building up vaccines should stay at home. ⭐️ Dogs MUST be leashed when entering and exiting the yard. Our neighbor across the street has a few outdoor cats we want to keep safe. 🍃 Please do not let your dog eat or chew any of the plants in the yard. No excessive digging. 🌻 Please do not enter the gated garden area on the other side of the house. We keep our quail coop and turtle enclosure in this area and don't want them startled. This long yard is perfect for small to medium fetchers. You’re welcome to use the playground ladder, and the slide, if your pooch can handle it. Humans: you’re welcome to use the playground, too ;)

A large, sunny field with a small wooded area. Oak trees offer shade and squirrels. A brick patio with seating.

Half acre partially fenced field welcoming all kinds of pups to work, train or play! Agility course, open field, tie out run always available. Other working/sport equipment available by request, just let us know what your pup is into and we'll let you know what else we have to offer. We are happy to say this is a NO judgement zone. Aggressive/reactive or crazy high energy dog you don't take places as often as you'd like because of the response you get from people, bring them here! We get it (really..we do) and will be sure to give you and your pup the space you need with no added side eye ;) Need help applying training for those "problems"? Ask us about that, too! Working/sport dog that needs somewhere to train where handler doesn't have to be on guard or worry about misinterpretation, bring them here! Our world revolves around working dogs and training... we get it. We respect what you're doing and the space and understanding you need to get it done. We also love to train and meet new dog people and would love to meet and join you if we're home, but only at your request. Just a good ol' pet dog that wants to have some fun? Bring them here! We have all the things for a perfect play date for you and your pup to just relax and enjoy! There will be a few toys, mainly balls, available but we have more to offer at your request! Private, quiet neighborhood—yard has a grassy area for ball tossing and a “feral” area for diggers and explorers. Park in front of gate (on grass/gravel mix). Hose to refill water dish to the right of screened porch. Fully 4’ fenced—combo of chicken wire (buried to protect paws) and concrete blocks stopped our little escapee (RIP 😇).
